I've been here a few times and I have enjoyed every dish I have tried. The Noble Broccoli is my favorite and the Delectable Eggplant is also delicious.I primarily order takeout but the staff is really nice and I really enjoy their food.
It's nice to walk into a place and be able to eat everything on the menu. Fully vegan restaurant. They don't always have all the options, but everything so far is delicious. Great staff. Always friendly.
My brother introduced me to this place a few years ago and I always love going here! The food is delicious and it is always nice to eat vegan at an actual restaurant instead of fast-food :) Although I wish there were more gluten-free options, but I understand that is hard. So I deal with my allergy for this
Drove almost two hours to get here from Sealy, walked in to a near-empty restaurant and the odor was so terrible that we turned around and left. Very disappointed that this had been rated so high. Looks like Covid has taken another victim.
This food is GOOOOD! The first vegan place that didn't make me feel like I was only eating cooked tofu and veggies. The dishes are flavorful and I love the spicy chai drink. Also, always tip that nice server! She's the only one on the floor each time I come in:,)You can even buy the "meat" they use by the lb. 10/10 The dine in is only meh because of their lone server. However, I am always met with kind service
Loving Hut is the first all vegan restaurant at which I ate here in Houston. Up to that time being vegetarian or vegan in Houston meant asking a restaurant to take off items from what I was ordering and which also meant the restaurant would charge me more for less! Coming to Loving Hut was sooooooo exciting for me. It has been over 12 years since my first visit and I still enjoy the food as much as the first time I dined there. My favorite "go to" dish is #33 Cheerful Noodle. There is a lot of bun available in Houston, but this dish is so flavorful. You can't go wrong with any order. There is generally only one person taking orders and running the food out to the tables, but service is always timely and friendly. So, as Houston begins to get more and more all vegan restaurants I think it is important to remember to go to an area "trailblazer"!

Food is adequate in terms of quality and portion size. At least the food is very cheap. There are lots of vegan options, which is great. Service is friendly.Service time varies. Peak hours will see wait times of around 15 minutes. Less active times have wait times less than 5 minutes. It doesn't appear like there are many workers at all, so I kind of feel bad for them during peak hours, but maybe there's more in the back I'm not aware of.Besides varied wait times, I also ding one star because of the interior. It seems a little dated and ugly, but maybe that's just my perspective. The walls are all yellow and there is little effective lighting. The fact that most walls are just glass should help with lighting, but it doesn't really. The wooden tables and chairs look cheap and a plain white. They have iron bars on both of their doors which is kind of weird and makes it seem like the place is closed, especially since I don't see any open sign or a lot of light inside. Looks a little ghetto that they need the extra security of iron bars.More important than design is the fact that some things don't work or are underutilized. They have like 3 big screens that I assume are to display the menu digitally, but they're either turned off or not working. It's a shame because the menu options are overwhelming and the menu itself is a little difficult to read. They also have a little glass display that I assume is to demonstrate desserts, but it's empty. Not sure if they're just too lazy to show the deserts or if the display just doesn't work so it can't keep the desert at an ideal temperature. Would be nice to have desserts visible and on demand.Overall a pleasant experience. The only cons I see are the perceived laziness and cheapness of the place, but the food was cheap and tasty. Check it out if you're looking for a place with lots of vegan Asian cuisine.
The food is good, just wish the portions were a little bit bigger for the price you pay. They should take it into consideration. I guarantee they will triple there customers wit this easy fix.
I had high expectations about this place due to all the good reviews. My visit was okay. My husband had the curry soup and I had the fried rice with soy chicken tenders. Both dishes were good. For dessert, we ordered a slice of chocolate cake and it was really good, except for a piece of plastic in the frosting! I'm just glad I caught it in my teeth and didn't swallow it. The wait time was also a little longer than I thought it would be since it wasn't a lunch hour or dinner hour but in between. I think I would try them again but I don't think I would get another dessert here.
