I got the 2 cluster crabs and 1/2 pound of whole shrimp with fried oysters and Cajun fries. The seasoning was amazing especially with the butter sauce. One thing that blew my mind was that the simple spice was extra spicy on the menu and they had all the way up too 5x spicy ! ? I that the first spicy was to spicy . But it was delicious ?.
9/10 Highly recommend! The only thing keeping this place from perfect is not having a flavorful mild sauce for us weenies lol. I got the Hotbox in medium, and I pushed through with my lips burning lol. Also, the crack sauce with my meal was delicious, I LOVED the daiquiris, and customer service was the cherry on top! Will definitely be returning!
They have been VERY careless with cleaning the shrimp and customer service. This location is on a downward decline.Basically you have to devein your own shrimp even if u get the loud pack with PEELED shrimp. You also have to season your own food apparently because they hardly put any flavor into anything. They pretty much have the flavor in the sauce which they only give u one and it costs 75 cents for each extra pack. The price is not matching the service you receive or the food quality.

The food here was fantastic. The crab legs actually had a cajun flavor to the meat, the crack sauce was phenomenal, and the fried lobster was unique and amazingly good. The fried rice had a nice spice and quite a bit of shrimp and crawfish in it. The lemonade was super tasty and a great compliment to the seafood.The service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.I wouldn't recommend the cajun egg though. No flavor infused in it. Just tasted like a regular boiled egg. But you can't knock it out of the park with everything.
Good but seemed a bit pricey to me. Not sure what the market prices have been like this year but it seemed to cost more than some similar.places that I have been to before. Had the "loud" basket. The Louisiana Fried rice was a bit.
We tried Lotus for the first time last week because of all the Instagram photos and videos. We did not have a good experience unfortunately.When we walked in, it was super crowded. We reached there at 9 PM. Took 10-15 mins to get to the counter to order. The staff gave a very unwelcoming vibe. Like why am I here and not at home? She told us we can’t dine in because they close at 10 PM. Then a guy from her back said we could sit and eat since it was 9:15 PM and they close dine in at 9:30 PM. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish, corns, potatoes and hush puppies. Then waited for the food to come. The seasonings were very bland. It wasn’t spicy enough and definitely didn’t look like the videos they posted on Instagram. The size of the crawfish were really small. Like baby size literally. I only got 3-4 crawfishes that were mid size. If we ordered 1 or 2 lbs then if we got 3-4 mid sized crawfishes, then I won’t have complained. But we ordered 5 lbs. The taste was subpar. If you like Tex Orleans style crawfish boil, then this is definitely not the place.We hurried up and ate because we didn’t want to get called out that we are staying past 10 PM there. When I went to wash my hands, there were no hand soap in the restroom. So I asked a staff to refill the hand soap. She responded that she can’t refill the hand soap because it’s not her job and the person that can refill it is not available at the moment. He will refill after the store closes. I asked her if she could at least give me some soap on my hands from the back but she denied. So I had to end up washing my hand without a soap after eating crawfish.Overall food and service was awful and for those reasons I can’t recommend this place. We ended up going to BB’s Cafe and had 2 lbs of crawfish to get the Lotus’ flavor out of our mouth. Lotus was a complete waste of our money.
This place is sooooo good! Everything was on point and fair price. They give you a good amount of food as well. If you don’t like being around a big crowd then I recommend getting it to-go because it stays packed. I highly recommend going! Don’t forget to get their crack sauce! ?
