A cheap and fun dive bar in every sense. Classic alternative and rock memorabilia torn and scattered all over the place, 2 worn pool tables, and a grungy jukebox with all the favorites.And like how can you beat 6 drinks for $16.50 in Midtown Houston.
Cheap drinks, good atmosphere, friendly people. Will definitely be coming back.
The drinks are consistently made well but the service is spotty. Most times the servers stop checking on your table after the first round of drinks and you can’t order from the bar if you have a server assigned to your table so getting additional rounds or paying the tab becomes a hassle.
I love this place!!! Kenny makes the strongest drinks!! Leah is outstanding she is quick and takes care of all your needs!!! I really miss Luis !!! That’s was my boy
Cool atmosphere to check out, but some of patrons are compulsive-aggressive and you cannot reason with them. Just do not strike a conversation with people you don't know. Not a good place to meet people. Overall not a friendly pub, and over the years I have been in many around H-town.
Great dive bar if you're into that vibe/aesthetic. Drinks are SUPER affordable more than any other bar I've been to! :)
You will be waiting a good 15 minutes for a drink here. Bartenders will ignore the living daylight out of you, they actually will stare you dead in the face and then look away, knowing you are waiting for service to patronize their bar. Won’t be back. EVER.
I love going to Lola’s, it decor is unique in it’s own way, the Medusa head , stickers all over the walls , and the jukebox playing a variety of good tunes. The bartenders are friendly and service at least for us is great. You meet people from all walks of life there. It’s never a boring night when we go. My favorite dive bar.

Lola’s is great. Ask for Kenny or Clint when you come! 10/10 recommend. Best dive bar is Houston!!!
