Great location with fantastic food. I am a frequent flyer at the Rice Village location and this location doesn't disappoint either. Beautiful building in the Heights. The Hispanic guy working the cashier was extremely friendly. Food is great and the ambiance is lively.I came today for takeout. Got my usual: crunchy chicken sandwich with chips and the seasonal fruit (watermelon all summer long!). I also picked up the vegan meatball sub with the pozole for my girlfriend. She's currently sick so the cup of green pozole was the perfect antidote on this weekend afternoon. My only complaint is that the watermelon was really skimpy today! Only two small pieces where I've definitely had a bigger portion (twice the size at least) when eating in. Otherwise, a great time.Will definitely be back!
The food is delicious associated with a wonderful service. Everyone in the staff was nice and attentive.. Best place we have enjoyed while we were in the area.
The food here is always fresh. My husband likes the Vegan meatball sub and the cashew queso, while I enjoy the crunchy chicken sandwich. Also the seasonal lemonade is tasty. Watermelon mint lemonade is the current flavor
I Ordered something I didn’t like and told Trey. He was nice and so understanding. Dealing with issues with my stomach he recommended something lite and healthy that was DELICIOUS!!!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. First time here but it will not be my last. Trey is awesome ? thank you for coming over talking with me and being so attentive. The Vegan Carrot Cake is OMG GOOD!
One of my favorite restaurant in Houston.Highly recommend the Garden Sammie and Truffle eggs！Try those delicious sandwiches.
I had an awesome crab sandwich. Food prices are reasonable. Wine is expensive. Great place for lunch or dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good portion sizes. Salads are huge
One of my favorite brunch spots. Lots of yummy healthy choices. Their taco salad is amazing. Love their vibe too with great service.
Really good all in all! I got the “crunchy chicken” and my boyfriend for the “bahn mi” with a side of potato salad and chips. The potato salad was good but it definitely had too much stuff going on and not enough potato. The chips were good but some were salty.
So far, all Local Foods is by far the best food for Vegan options! Every time come I always get the ‘Vegan Taco Salad!’ Absolutely amazing! The Heights location is very trendy, down to earth atmosphere, I love the outdoor seating with all the shade they have and the staff are friendly.There’s definitely no ‘judgment’ at this location.I would definitely recommend Local Foods!
First time visit..loved the atmosphere. Enjoyed my Asian chicken salad and roasted cauliflower. Super fresh and all the flavors just complimented each other. Large portions a plus.
