Love the huge, old oak tree that shades all the seating underneath it. Service is always friendly, but sometimes under staffed. Happy they are hanging on after Covid business loss. There is a playground for kids too. Family friendly.
Our first trip here after driving by for years and we were thoroughly impressed. Great patio, delicious food, and a good tap list of beer. Plenty of shaded space for kids to run around. We will definitely make this a regular spot before soccer games!
New ownership put a fresh coat of paint on this beauty. Boasting a massive patio, multiple rooms and a decently sized dining area and bar. Live Oak has a ton of things working in its favor. Gone are the inattentive staff that would trudge up to you and take your order, the new staff is extremely attentive and efficient. Beers are cheap, food is great and now they have mixed cocktails. What’s not to love?
I love the vibe here. Drink was delicious. I got a Georgia Peach, Bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. No pic because I devoured it when it came. Burger had good flavor, was cooked perfectly and was still hot when I got it.
Went Friday night the food was good the bartenders were nice and also working fast to get everyone their order but they ran out of seats inside. Be aware they have limited seating. If weather permits they do have a nice large patio.
Great staff. Beautiful patio and cozy rooms inside. Had crawfish and corn. Very tasty and seasoned/spiced just right. Shelby....Best wishes to you in your future endeavors!
This place is an amazing restaurant! They have a great patio area and playground to keep the kids busy. Lounge areas and pool table! Reasonable prices and great happy hour hour specials!
Kind of an impersonal experience. We ordered at the bar and seated ourselves. It seemed as if the waitresses didn't want to be there. The food however was good....so where it may not have been an excellent dining experience I would recommend getting it to go or planning to eat in their outdoor dining area.
Went for a group meet and greet. Cold beer, nice selection of appetizers. Also have entrees that I did not try
They just added more spirits. I really like the chicken fried steak. They have some really tasty brussel sprouts. Nice selection of craft beer. Historical location.
