Great service, great people, great time. Plenty of space to have a good sized group, great background music. They allow outside food in case the food trucks aren't set up yet. There are fans with misters all over the place in case it's a warm day. Games to play as well.
First of all, if you didn't know, this place is big on turtle racing. While that might seem like much while you're sober, going to this place with friends and after a couple of drinks, turtle racing is the best god damn thing to ever put inside a bar.I believe there are races every 30 min or so starting at 10:30. You wait in line, place bets on your turtle, then watch it unfold. If your turtle wins twice out of the 5 rounds, you get a free shot!Other than that there's your standard bar for beers, liquors, cocktails, etc, and their specialty menu is pretty good. I had the Cucumber Peach Blossom (this one is the best!), Watermelon Fresca, and Blood Orange Palomas, which were incredibly refreshing and not strong, so some people might not be into that.Also, parking might be an issue. We street parked a few blocks away and walked about 5 - 10 minutes.Last note. It's INCREDIBLY hot in there. Please don't dress for this. I saw a guy come in a suit and tie. You will sweat buckets in the Houston heat and humidity. Wear shorts, skirts, t-shirt, whatever.Was fun overall! Come with friends!

This place is amazing. The Barstaff is top notch and worthy of.any price they ask, but they are reasonable. Lots of activities for any age group. Everyone should enjoy this spot for fun. Worth every penny. Will go back.
Nice cocktails and vibe, great service, very clean restrooms. No good food option tho.. they have a food truck parked there but food is not good.
Had fun playing corn hole. Nice atmosphere, friendly people, felt comfortable and safe. Looking forward to going back.
Been coming here since day one of their opening. Always a fun,laid back pub. Great selection and pleasant staff. Although they are often overwhelmed at the bar due to short staffing. Dining is limited to food trucks mostly.
The outdoor patio here is absolutely amazing. I came down to Houston for a weekend visiting from Austin and was able to have drinks with my friends and the sunshine on the patio and play cornhole. There is over 50 beers on top and many outdoor and indoor TVs for watching the games. We were watching UT play in the big 12 tournament for March madness. They have crawfish available for a reasonable price in the spring...It's in a great spot in midtown and I would definitely go back!
Even with competition of the rodeo in town, this place still gets a healthy crowd , went there for the turtle races and it was a great ambiance. Love the many activities you can do there , it's pet friendly, and youos hotdogs is right outside , as well as this pizza place. Would just wish they had a price menu with specials etc. Not just a blind pick and choose, as you can see other people have mentioned that's an issue.
Spent my birthday here and had a great time! Good vibes, plenty of seating, and best of all, great drinks. The location also allows for easy bar hopping, so if you get the chance to, I would definitely say to stop by!
