We had dinner here tonight. The atmosphere was great. We sat on the patio so we got to see all kinds of cute dogs coming with their families. The food was good, but my dish came out quite a bit after the others and when it got to me it literally had 2 pieces of broccoli in it. I waited and no one came to check on it and since the manager delivered it I figured it was a lost cause and I went ahead and ate it. So the 4 stars is for the service which was pretty much 3 stars but we did enjoy the food and everyone can have an off day.
We had a good experience here. Pretty decent menu selection. Atmosphere is good and staff was very nice.Prices are semi high (cheeseburger and fries for $15), but guess you're paying for the atmosphere.Parking lot was full when we pulled up, but we were seated right away.
I'm generally suspect of trying out new places. So many joints suck. However, Lazy Dog is the rare exception. Their menu (both beer AND food) help them stand apart. We tried FOUR different appetizers (off the Happy Hour menu) and were shocked at how good they were. We especially liked the calamari, buffalo cauliflower, and edamame. Extra credit goes to the hiring agent. We personally worked with three different servers and they were all great. Especially Nick. He was amazingly good spirited. Whoever hired Nick and the rest of the staff is a genius. Each rep was professional and happy to help. Color me "shocked." Good food AND good service? Yes! Lazy Dog did it. Two big thumbs up!
The food was ok. The pickled cucumbers were good. The Cajun fries and ranch were really tasty. The best part was my server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. My first order was too spicy. She returned it to the kitchen and didn't charge me. Without hesitation. Great place to stop in for a good bite to eat.
Food was decent and we were sat down immediately but it did take a while for someone to come serve us drinks and take our order. The food also took long to come out and as expected for a dog friendly place the restaurant did have an odor (wet dog smell) that was hard to get used too. We were just visiting from out of town and this was right across the street from our hotel.
Our family enjoyed our first dining experience at Lazy Dog. The waiter, Moose, was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. We also loved that the manager came by to bring us tasty homemade chips. The atmosphere is great, the food is yummy and the patio dining is spacious. We will be back!
Great service, the ribs are really good.
First timer review...it's much better tasting bar food. The drinks are awesome tho...definitely wont go wrong there. Burgers are a winner too. The menu is written like they are freshly preparing everything from scratch but it's mostly frozen, pre-breaded and bulk bar food made to order... in a very laid back comfortable environment. Reverse happy hour starts at 9p. They will cheat and take shortcuts from time to time, for example, the cheeseburger fries which had literally 3 small chunks of meat in it when it should be "loaded" with seasoned ground beef. The 3 small chunks looked like they took someone's leftover burger and hand broke it over the fries.
Let's get into it!I've ordered from here a few times for delivery via Uber Eats. Both times I've gotten the BBQ burger with fries. I've also tried the banana pudding. The packaging - for delivery is great. They seal the bag with a sticker. The to-go container for the banana pudding was good as well. The taste - each time I've gotten the BBQ burger it's been good. I order it medium well and it always comes cooked as ordered. Nice thick slices of bacon as well. Pretty good burger and it's not a pile of grease like other places. They also have fresh veggies on the burger too. The lettuce and pickles were all fresh.Overall- Good quality burger for the price, to meet your burger fix! I'll keep this place in the rotation, and will be trying other menu items the next to go-round.
Great burgers, great service
