Delicious Sichuan spicy foods. Only bad thing was we went in on Saturday for lunch and they only had sze chuan dumplings. I wanted pan fried and soup dumplings and they didn't have any. The only appetizer they had were the sze chuan dumplings. Singapore noodles were tasty. Mapo tofu was great. Garlic eggplant was delicious. Spicy crispy chicken was good but I still like Mala Sichuan better. I highly recommend this place. They would've gotten all stars if they had their dumplings in stock.

We came to Lao Sze Chuan for Father’s Day. From the very beginning, we had a positive impression of the restaurant, as the interior was clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a comforting vibe and music. The service was also exceptionally friendly. We were excited about the food since so many items on the menu looked great, and when our dishes arrived we found them indeed delicious! The Peking duck set was fantastic—the soup came first, and its savory flavor was a perfect way to start the meal. Then, the slices of duck meat and skin were exquisite, especially when tucked in the paper-thin pancake wraps alongside sliced cucumber, scallion and duck sauce. The other dishes were also excellent! The salted egg paste tofu was divine, melting in our mouths when warm. I enjoyed the long bean with eggplant, not only because it combined two of my favorite veggies in one dish, but also as it had a great taste. Finally, the Szechuan traditional grilled fish, with its full flavor and fiery kick, did not disappoint. All in all, would definitely recommend Lao Sze Chuan!

Had a great meal and the service made us feel at home. Had the Fish Fillet Spicy Dry Pot Series 鱼片, the Chef's Special Dry Chili Chicken Chef Special 香辣子鸡, the Boiled Beef in Spicy Szechuan Sauce 水煮牛肉, and the Dan Dan Noodle 担担面. Everything was great. We had mixed feelings at the table on the Dan Dan Noodle - I loved it, but some found it a bit sweet and not as flavorful as others in Chinatown. Matter of preference I guess. The restaurant is trying a recipe for roast duck and got a really nice oven for that. Can't wait to try it!

Two thumbs up!Love the fish in red chili oil and green pepper flavor beef in sour soup. Order the fresh fish one, which is of limited supply everyday. Flickering tender! Beef is also tender, and smooth. The numbing from Sichuan green pepper and the fermented sour flavor make it a specialty. What’s more, sliced bamboo shoots and seaweed knots increase both aroma and texture to the soup. Don’t miss the refreshing cold stir noodles! After this little break, go back for more spicy. Lao Sze Chuan, well done! We definitely will come back for more!

Delicious Salt and Pepper squid. They come with caramelized onions which add a nice kick.We also ordered the General Tsaos and the Schezwan Dumplings which are handmade. Great choices. We had our food mild but they certainly have spicy to super spicy options. Enjoy

An authentic Chinese place. We love the food here better than some other Americanize places. Service is awesome, the manager came out and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Recommended salted egg yolk shrimp.

A newly opened Szechuan cuisine in Chinatown. Comfortable interior. Tried many of its house specialty. Liked the salted egg tofu. Eggplant is good too. Its lamb and fish fillet were both on the dry and over spiced side. Disappointed as these are the main speciality dishes. Pricing is on the high side for its down-to-earth interior / ambiance and ingredient value.

10/10, the taste is right on point with traditional Si Chuan food. The dishes taste very good and the servers are nice. Good environment, the chairs are fuzzy, and there's a 7ft tall teddy bear right next to the doors.

Surprisingly amazing! Came here with my sister and boyfriend and we were so happy we did. We started with the cucumber salad then got salt and pepper prawns (amazing) and squid stir fry. Both were fantastic and came with a side of rice. Overall the experience we had here was outstanding
