Stopped in for a quick hamburger one Saturday night. Sat inside, but plenty of picnic table out front as well. Good selection of burgers and other sandwiches on the menu. I order the traditional burger and my husband got the Texas. Both large. Patty is not overly thick but tasted good. My husband really liked his with all the different flavors. Shared an order of fries, and they could hav been cooked a little more, as they were limp and not crisp. Good selection of local beers, wine and sodas. Love the look of the old building and staff very friendly. Well go back
Great time in Houston where I stay in Eado Point the area was perfect good food in walking distance of my airbnb
Excellent burgers, friendly service, crispy curly fries. Now open for dinner and they now take credit cards. It's the same amazing food with better hours. The best burger in Houston. Indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast is great there, too.
The #firehouseburger w/a Yuengling Lager & tater tots!!
Tried this spot out for the first time the other day and it wasn’t bad. They’ve got a good bacon cheeseburger and friendly staff!
They serve quite the hefty burger. Super friendly service.
Simple - unless you're willing to drive to Kemah (TOOKIES BURGERS), Lankford's has the best burgers in Houston. Not just delish, but several innovative takes on this restaurant staple. I hate giving them a great review because I would rather not wait in iine, but when you deserve praise you should get praise!!!
This place is truly a gem. It's interior is a throw back, and the outside deck is very inviting. The food was delicious and the prices were also very good. What really makes this place a repeat spot is the service. Great staff, and everyone was so nice. Can't wait to go back.
Wonderful little breakfast or lunch place. Had breakfast with my husband. Charming little joint. Tostadas were to die for so flavorful! Friendly staff and an old school feel. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
We were in the museum district, and the kids stuck it out so well that we decided to go get some burgers at Lankford's ... we'd seen it on DDD at some point and is on our bucket list of places to eat here. The burgers were nothing short of fantastic. The kids went the more traditional burger route and proclaimed them "very good". I had the firehouse burger - it was outstanding, with a good amount of heat (try to not get the sauce on your lips - it's hot). My companion had the Philly cheeseburger, which I got a bite of, and it was amazing (had a bit of heat too, I think they use poblano peppers). We got a side of regular fries and tater tots to share, and I think I've found my new favorite french fries. We sat outside, and even with the temps in the low 90s it was comfortable under the shade tree. As other reviewers have pointed out, they're not fast - our order took 35 minutes to get out of the kitchen, but the wait is well worth it. Oh, and they're accepting credit cards now, which is good as the ticket adds up fast.
