There Business hours are not till 8 pm I just called at 7:50pm to order 2 pupusas the woman answered the phone and kept repeating estamos cerrados estamos cerrados. Thankfully los Ranchitos closes at 8pm as well and took my order before 8pm as they announce on their business hours.
I was driving by this restaurant and I thought I would give it a try…The pupusas are a good size, however the oil they use to fry them in leaves an unpleasant after taste. The curtido is too spicy-not at all how Salvadorians like it. Also, the waitress was rude, no personality, just getting the job done.Next time I want to eat pupusas I’m going else where.
Worst place to eat pupusas because you have to wait like 45 mins for just 2 , the soup was too watery.. Service is the worse I have seen. Not sure why this place is still open..
Omg!! Best pupusas ever!! Big not greasy and very good price!!
They have great food but it takes a while the waiting time about 30 mins. But their food is freshly made and they have hand made corn tortillas. My favorite food there is Caldo de galling! So healthy it has fresh vegetables and it's better than chicken soup when you are sick.
I only come here for the pupusas, they are big and at very cheap price and the most important thing they are delicious.
Good Salvadorean food, average prices, they just need to redecorate the place and do faster service.
I asked for mariscada had no flavor I has to add two lemons to be able to taste it
Delicious pupusas(the best in Houston I'd say) good service.
Run down. Pupusa super greasy but great tamales. Juices are not fresh fruit squeezed taste sugary and powdery. Not happy with the quality of food nor aesthetics. Hygiene questionable.
