Told him I want a mix of street tacos, I get 5 tacos of 1 type of meat. And after driving 50 minutes to get back home I find that they missed half my order. $100+ for overpriced street food that I didn’t get half of and the half I got was mediocre. Jamaica is okay but the lime aqua fresca tasted like water. Tried to call them but phone number on site and google is out of service. They operate equivalent to street food vendor but at prices of an upscale restaurant.
Came here on a food tour and changed my perspective of Mexican food and “street food”. The tortillas are small but you can tell they are hand made and fresh. The pulled beef Birria was life changing. Our sever Santos took great care of us and made such good margarita that we had to come back for seconds after the tour. As good Mexican as we had on our Texas trip
We came here because my daughter wanted to try street tacos. This place was recommended from our tour guide. We were blessed to park right there! She enjoyed what she ordered. I just had chips and guacamole. Not the place for a vegetarian or if you want something besides taco or chips. (no taco salads etc) A bit pricey.
Delicious tacos and piña colada!!! We will definitely return with family & friends…we stopped by before going to Chavorucos!!! Service was excellent and felt very comfortable!!! ?
I decided to give this place a try bc of the good reviews but If you actually know and have tasted real and good Mexican tacos this isn’t the place for you ( it wasn’t for me either) they also over price their food it was 3 of us we just had tacos + drinks and our total was over $70. It was definitely not worth it the tacos are very much like torchis tacos except really small but they lack flavor just like torchis. Hopefully they start making their food better. Good costumer service though.
This place is my favorite place to go for authentic Mexican food.everything from the street tacos to my favorite QUESOBARRIA is always fresh.ive been multiple times since my two visits to Houston which says a lot about the food and service..I definitely advise anyone looking for great food at a great price with great service to go..YOU WILL GO BACK maybe the same day like I did lol.
First, this is the coolest restaurant. The owner was so kind helping us better understand the different types of meat. These were the BEST street tacos I’ve had in forever. I wish we had this place in Colorado!
Amazing place with a great atmosphere, to include awesome food!! We went as a group during our Houston trip… ordered the 20 tacos/4 choices of meats, street corn - the bomb, salsa was delicious. Definitely coming back!! Thanks La Calle Tacos !!
The tacos were really good and the birria was tasty. Service was quick and there were lots of toppings and salsas you could add. It looked like a pretty nice cantina in the adjacent room. The location is convenient near the train and they're open late.Features: Customers were not required to have masks
Went for dinner, have inside and outside seating. Walk up and order what you want, menu is very small, not much on it. Our problem was the person taking order did not speak english very well. Only on person in there that could help us order our food. We got the street tacos and the Gringo taco's. Both were good, they come with this hot dipping sauce, which is very hot. so be carful. The food is excellent and I am sure much more authentic than the typical chain Mexican tacos
