Did not know of this gem, hidden amongst other restaurants located within the same vicinity. The atmosphere was similar to one of an open market, however elegant. The menu is easy to read, to pick and choose. We arrived a little before closing time. Bar staff were very friendly and open to cooking my chosen meals for the evening. A little of everything was chosen and savored! Amongst the other restaurant aromas, the flavors could not be masked. The peppers cooked to perfection and not so spicy. The chicken fat rice, as a side was the perfect portion size. The sushi ? ? superb! **(I do not like sushi! And I tried it, best experience!)Food was readily available and fresh! Staff worked well with one another considering their limited amount of work space too.Restrooms are located in the back of the rental. Overall cleanliness of all staff and Sanitation up to par! Will be returning again, pricing fair for what other locals are doing in the area as well. A great location for a mini getaway with a date♡
Very fun and exciting way of ordering and eating sushi. It was entertaining to watch them prepare all the orders.

Not really a raw fish kinda guy but, the preparation was perfect. Everything was delicious and fresh. Came out quickly and the staff was nice. I approve as a non sushi eater. I prefer cooked but this restaurant gave me a new outlook. Bit pricy tho and worth it
The same owners of Handies in white oak. The setting isn't as intimate as handies but the quality is not sparred at all. Hands down in my opinion one of the best and affordable sushi restaurants in Houston. Melt in your mouth fish, combination of flavors that just explode in your mouth. A culinary experience that must be had. The detail to each dish is amazing, meticulously pieced together to look absolutely beautiful while still stimulating every receptor on your tounge.

Their sushi is awesome. The selection is decent enough and no matter if you prefer raw fresh fish or cooked . They have it.Only 3 if you prefer cooked though. But they do taste great
We love to come here as a date night tradition. I really appreciate how it's open til midnight on the weekends because we are late dinner eaters. It's hard to say what the best menu items are because everything is so good.
Great food quality but a bit too overpriced for the food. Great environment and service. Will not coming back tho. Good for the first try
Definitely deserves five stars! These are not just regular sushi you normally see, they are very creative and taste so good. Too many choices and cool place to hang out, want to try more next time.
