Very good restaurant was a Texas original feel. The menu has some favorites for Texans and the environment makes you feel like you are dining at an upscale ranch house. Great for a business dinner, couples' dinner or family.
The food was good. Our server was wonderful. Service was prompt. Great recommendations when struggling to decide.
Our waiter, British was great! I ordered steak & eggs came with cheese grits The grits were room temp but ok. Scrambled Eggs over cooked. Hubby had eggs Benedict with country fries. A meal he would order again.
Great brunch selection and of course good steaks. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was decently busy, but were seated quickly.
EJ was the best waiter! Very informative and knowledgeable. Quite courteous and sweet. My good was served cold. (Shrimp and grits) and he made sure I had a replacement.
Food was good, and our server was attentive. The portions were a bit too small though this could be because it was the Houston Restaurant Week menu (we had ordered a 3 course brunch meal during HRW). The big complaint was that it took very long to receive each course and we waited almost 30 minutes for the dessert course.
We went for brunch as part of Houston restaurant weeks. The service was wonderful. Highly recommend EJ! The bread pudding was very dense that a spoon would barely go through. That was our only disappointment.

The food was above average. The brisket queso dip was very good. The cocktail menu was subpar with limited choices. The wait time for cocktails was too long. Very noisy.
