Wanted to try this place out and the reviews looked good. Ordered a tom yum soup, papaya salad and pineapple curry. All tasted very delicious. Everything was good, even thought about ordering extra until we found bugs in the curry… looks to be a baby roach and some gnats and flies on the chili oil. The papaya salad and tom yum soup were fine, but we ended up losing our appetite halfway. Disappointing because I really did enjoy it and staff were nice.
This has been my go-to Thai place for years. Unfortunately, something has changed in the kitchen. The food is inconsistent, missing sauces, highly salty and just not the Khun Kay of old. I'll be finding a new favorite.
Was a little skeptical when we arrived to this place around 1pm in a Sunday there was nobody there, and the rest of the restaurants around seemed full. Luckily we continued in it was really good and they had a lot of variety. I had yellow curry and my wife had Thai style pork with egg noodles. After we got there the place did end up getting pretty busy with what seemed like regulars. I'll definitely be returning when I feel like thai good next
My go to Thai food spot! Cheap and tasty ! Have been going here for the last 10 years! Great food. Love the promptness and the quality of food. Always get the yellow curry and/or pad thai!
The best Thai food in Houston hands down. They have the real Thai food and know how to cook it. They let you choose degree of spice you like and let me tell you 4 or 5 is out of this world hot FYI
Ordered food to go, almost swallowed a 2 inch metal piece, no idea what it could be.Never ordering food from there again. They are lucky I wasn't dining in.
Great selection of Thai food. I loved my soup and my friends all loves their dishes: curries, rice, stir fry.
My first experience dining in last month was nice. My second experience ordering takeout was not. This place is situated in a low key area and it's quiet inside with plenty of seating. I ordered the tom yum soup with chicken (spice level hot) as well as the pineapple curry with shrimp. Is was decent overall. There were broccoli & green beans in the pineapple curry which I was not used to. The staff is polite. However, I ordered the exact same thing yesterday for takeout and the tom yum was mild and the pineapple curry was pretty awful. The curry was super gritty and the color was off. The broccoli was brown on the ends and the carrots were really mushy... I am surprised they really packaged this for someone to eat and they accepted payment for it.This was too great of a hit or miss so I will not return and definitely wouldn't recommend takeout.
This place is a shadow of what is once was. Maybe ownership changed?? Ordered $40 worth of take out and it is bland garbage. I ordered 2 dishes, one at the hottest level of 5 and one at 3. Nothing is spicy. Nothing has flavor. Red curry looks like veggies with alfredo but zero flavor. Fresh rolls are a joke. Not sure I will give this place another try. Disappointing..
Food was good. The fountain drink were pretty bad though. Definitely get a bottled drink of you want one.
