My 1st time here and the experience is wonderful. Walking in felt very inviting all most like I was at home. Their hot tea brought back wonderful memories of my Mom's tea she would make when I was younger. And the Koshary was delicious. And the music sets the mood.
My wife just had to take me here. She came a few weeks ago and hasn’t stopped talking about the wonderful owner and his great food. I came in and immediately felt welcomed and at home. The decor is like you walked into a Mediterranean marketplace. Vibe, music, incredible food, and hospitality. We will be regulars and you all should be as well!!!
Delicious Mediterranean food! & we also tried these sweet samosas. The ones filled with chocolate and banana were my favorite!
This is my favorite place to eat, I love coming here after work and I even came for my birthday. The food is always fresh and tasty, before I moved to Houston I didn’t care for Mediterranean food and since I started to come here I cannot get enough of it.If there were more stars to give I would.
This place is awesome! The food is awesome, the service is awesome. and the owner is very friendly. recommended the Egyptian Mint Tea, it is, you guessed it, awesome.
I moved here from Los Angeles last year I tried several Mediterranean Restaurants this by far sticks out as the best I had in Houston so far. It’s so Goood I had the Greek Pita Gyro the Flavors OMG this is the real deal. I will definitely be coming back. And the Hott Tea is to die for so good it was all so good.
This place has the best Mediterranean food I ever had. It was so fresh and homemade it tasted like something your grandma would make just filled with love and care. The staff was also amazing they were very kind and attentive to us and made us feel like we are at home. Will definitely come back.
Resturant owner Abdala was very cool and personable. I had lunch there. I felt like I was at a family friendly place. Food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely return here for many more meals to come.Levy B. From the San Francisco Bay Area relocated to Houston Tx.
The location is tucked away in a strip mall but when you walk in it feels very comforting, welcoming, peaceful... like coming home.We went there for tea. First we had honey black tea, then the mango tea. Both were very good. I enjoyed the way it was served, traditionally, and the tea stayed hot the entire time. The staff was very polite and focused. After shopping in the area, I returned to order food to go: Falafel pita and Halal beef pita, hummus and extra order of Falafel. They have a great selection of fresh vegetables and toppings for the pita or building your own salad. The sauces are even more incredible! Garlic, spicy garlic, and a couple others I ordered on the side, all very good!My drive home was almost 40 minutes and the food was still warm and packed perfectly for a to-do order. I really appreciated this. They also serve an All you can Egyptian feast for $19.99 per person. You can order this any time but it is recommended to call ahead. If you're in the area and want a nice place to enjoy tea or a great fresh meal I highly recommend Kenz! Or just grab something to go!
Great customer experience with owner being very personable and great recommendations. Had their special a Kashari dish which is national dish of Egypt along with teas and was awesome. No frills place with amazing food!
