Good food, good touch of my memory from Ukraine; (бочковые огурцы с водочкой, варениками и жареным лучком! мммм!) sizes of dishes are huge!!! I never seen cabbage wrapped biger then size of my husband hand ? it was too funny... Personally, in that particular dish, I would remove sweeten from tomato sauce - loosing whole piont of tomatoes...In meanwhile - love this place!!!
The food is great. True to a NY Deli serving sizes. The new site in the Galleria (@Post Oak and San Felipe tucked in the corner of the shopping center) is beautiful. The upgrade still has the to go Deli Counter, but they have added a full service Bar and Full service Soda Fountain and Dessert Bar. This pic is the Triple Decker BLT.
Hadn't been here in years, but man I should have been! Love the new location and the double platter with pastrami and corned beef and sauerkraut was perfect ?The cheesecake is also amazing! The perfect amount of sour/tart and incredibly dense.
(1) Clean! Very clean. Can’t believe a restaurant can be this clean.(2) Good and “healthy” foods. I can feel they don’t put more salt than necessary.(3) Diligent and attentive staff.What more you can ask for from a restaurant?We had lemonade, beef stroganoff, burger, and salad. Want to try breakfast later if I ever wake up before noon on weekend.
This place was absolutely AMAZING. The food was some of the best I've eaten. That being said, service was very slow and it is so so sooooo loud in there it's extremely hard to hear anyone and you pretty much have to scream to talk to anyone. Still, I'll definitely be back!(Pic of the build your own grilled cheese with Gouda and muenster cheese and house made pastrami...SO good. Also some pics of my 9 month old, Maia enjoying their pickles! Not pictured is the amazing vanilla latte and the best New York cheesecake I've ever eaten.)
This place is great very spacious for groups and families. They offer such a variety of meals. Great food and bakery my favorite cookie was the small little men with ? it was sooooo good! Like a cookie should be. It was crowded but they move fast and professional with the orders.I was hit on by on of the customers while ordering my food which was cool but I didn't expect it. Lol

This well known deli serves great quality huge deli sandwiches in the Jewish tradition. Portions are gigantic and the meats are all excellent. Salads and side dishes are less successful as are the dairy dishes. The main dinner salad is average. Blintzes and potato pancakes are quite pricey and don't live up to their high price tag.
