We were so hungry y'all almost didn't get pictures lol. We were surprised that there was no free snack given for dining in. We had combination rice, California rolls, and shaggy dogs. We liked that the shaggy dog had a bit of a kick to it. We really enjoyed the food while we were there and the service was great. For some reason, we didn't eat the leftover sushi we took, and the leftover rice I did eat but it was super greasy.
My wife and I visited on Saturday evening around 630pm. It is a small place with booths and tables. Atmosphere and decor are not the highlight. We were sat immediately and greeted immediately. The selection of alcohol is small. They only have beer and wine.The waitresses were very friendly and attentive..The food was good and priced reasonably..Appetizer:Peanut Butter Jalapeños- 10/10.Sushi:Smoked Salmon - 10/10Spider Roll - 8/10Rainbow Roll - 9/10Volcano Roll - 5/10Vegas Roll - 8/10.Dessert:Mochi- 9/10 (first time to try mochi)Banana Foster - 8/10.I would recommend and we will come back to try other sushi rolls.
Great sushi for an affordable price!! Cute little place. Very small! Does tons of take out probably for a reason hah. Workers were extremely nice and working their tails off.
Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had for the price!! Great place! Great service! The specials from Tues-Sun 3pm-6pm are great!! But be careful though they are closed on Mondays.
Our first time here & it was GREAT. We were amazed how good the sushi made & set up …so many flavor in one bite . The Ramon broth was delightful! Yum! Will most definitely be back! PS . The staff was nice & made sure we were well taking off of. 5 Kudos! KAWA SUSHI .
One of THE BEST spots for authentic sushi in HOUSTON!! If I could ever say I love a restaurant this would be the first! I drive 45 minutes to and from just to eat here & would definitely recommend to any sushi connoisseur. Definitely try the Lobster Fantasy Roll & Tonkotsu Ramen(Spicy).
I went to dine in with a group today, it was our first time going so we were a bit anxious. However we were met with the best food and service ever. Servers are sweet, attentive, and do their best to complete all your requests, and everybody i saw wore their masks correctly as well, such a plus! The food was beyond this world, hot and steamy and so tasty. The place is a bit small, but that was ok since we were a small group. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing sushi place! Great prices, decent to delicious food (probably one of the best in the NW area), very friendly staff. Only draw back is it's kinda small, can't fit a large crowd easily; too packed during dinner. I usually go during lunch (this place has happy hour and lunch specials(EVERY day)).
A little disappointed. After looking at the rating and most of the reviews, I decided to try this location. I love the location, the quaint atmosphere. The sashimi and the sushi was really good and the soup was really good. However, the rice on the spicy tuna roll not seem fresh. Also, I asked to upgrade the spicy tuna roll and pay the difference I was told there was no way they could do that even though I was willing to pay the full difference in the price.Lastly, they were a little slow, not there any sushi places ever fast. It was bad enough that the table behind me asked for theirs to go because they had to get back to work.
