This was the first Japanese restaurant we tried in Houston, restaurant was still very busy on a weekday afternoon. Fish/ingredients are fresh, the toro uni caviar sushi was really good, will totally come back just for that. Our server Edward was very attentive and nice. Overall, great value for money.
Got the gyoza and chicken skewers as appetizers. The appetizers and octopus had a lot of flavor. The broth of the pork belly was really good. The ramen was okay. Broth wasn't the most flavorful. The sushi was also okay along with the nigiri. I think there's other places in Houston with better sushi and nigiri. The warm blueberry cake dessert was also not that warm
One of my favorite sushi and Japanese restaurant in Houston. They serve up amazing dishes and high grade sushi. This place is also pack for lunch and dinner so reserve on the Resy app. You will not be disappointed here. A must try place if you haven’t been.
One of the best sushi restaurants I have been to, every dish we had was amazing. The fish was tasty and high quality.Can’t wait to come back and try different dishes.I don’t give 5 stars often,
Great food in a chill environment. Getting a bunch of plates to share is definitely the way to go here. The kobe beef skewers was one of the best bites of food I’ve had in a LONG time.Drinks here are also inventive and taste good. Servers were all friendly, attentive, and efficient. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Houston.
Pretty good sushi and excellent service. First time here for me and the family and we basically ordered family style so we could sample multiple dishes. Nothing specific I would recommend, or eat again, just happy with it all.
We walked in with no reservations but got seated right away. The place was already filling up and getting busy. We ordered from the daily special page. Started with the oyster w caviar at $9 bucks each we both felt it was a waste of $ just forgetable. The scallop sashimi, butter fish sashimi was ok and theseweed salad was meh. I certainly wouldn't order any of those items again not at those prices. The unagi shirayaki, miso eggplant, and strawberry tres leche saved this meal because all three were really good. Our server was quick and efficiant.
Great food and amazing environment. Will highly recommend their sushi. I did not have a chance to try their soup yet, but my friend had the lobster crab and I heard it was off the chain. So it’s usually hard to get a table there so be sure to look ahead and book your reservation. Definitely worth it. Octopus ? delicious. Caribbean roll had a kick to it with the right combination of everything.
Highly recommend, we love this place!!! We found this place for 2022 New Year date night. It's now February 5th and we have been back 3 times already. We have tried something new every single time and each item is AMAZING! Great atmosphere, great service, and your food comes out crazy fast! Reservations are definitely recommended but they have gotten us in when we did not have one. Thanks to the staff and New Manager ;) for making every experience awesome!!Also if you do not drink alcohol but still love awesome mocktails,, try the Fake I.D.
