Definitely a restaurant on my family monthly rotation for Persian food. Service is well above average. Food is great and portions are healthy. Staff is helpful. 'Nan' bread is the best and always fresh. Hummus tastes fresh. I would recommend upgrading the dish rice to cranberry rice.
I came to have a casual dinner last night and it was outstanding. I've never had Persian food before, but I'm glad my first experience with it was at Kasra. I ordered the hummus as an appetizer and had the kubideh skewers with white rice as the entrée. The hummus was smooth and delicious. The kebideh was cooked to perfection and was tender and delicious. Everything tasted very fresh and wasn't over-seasoned. Maybe that's a characteristic of Persian food in general, but either way, I loved it. The portion sizes were generous and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very nice and patient with us as we had little idea of what to order. Definitely will be coming back with some friends soon.
We have been to the restaurant twice and it’s always been packed. I would recommend to go early or wait for quick a bit. Great place for some Persian food. They serve bread and salad before the main course and the portions are generously sized. The meats were very juicy as well. We picked from the combos. I felt there was a pressure from the staff to clear out tables so they could accommodate other guests. Will be returning though for the good food.
Great service... Our server Haroon was very attentive, polite and quick... The food was hot and tasty.. My 9 yr old all the way to my parents loved every bite.
The best Persian restaurant in Houston! I usually get the combo Beef and Chicken with kale salad. The egg plant dip with bread is out of this world. Consistently delicious, quick efficient customer service and clean.

This is the best Persian restaurant in Houston and what I loved most was Sultani . Staffs are super helpful and nice. The reservation went super easy with Mehrdad who is a real asset to the restaurant.
The best hummus, love how garlicky it was. Their meat with rice was great too.

Mehh... not impressed. Went thwre after YEARS!! ... but its not the same Kasra that it used to be. The rice was bland and not flavorful at all and the beef kebabs had a weird smell coming from them. Service was okay too... nothing great.Food did come fast and the ambience was nice and cozy.It never used to be like that...Maybe I went on a bad day or something.
