Love this spot gives a big bowl ???
I really enjoy the bowls here and the service, but unfortunately the hours are inconsistent. They open at 9 am but I’ve went there a few times at 9:15 am, 9:45 am, etc and they are not open which is a bit inconvenient since the only hours and door hours show it opens at 9 am. I make the most of it and just go to the coffee shop across the street but may be good for them to change hours.
Taste good but it’s weird that they mass juice in the morning and store the juice in plastic bottles that they reopen all day letting out the nutrients only to pour it into a glass bottle to give to you. Sort of defeats the purpose, probably just drank a glass bottle full of sugar and no actual nutrients.
Great smoothies but slow service. I placed an order online and when I arrived to pick it up, it was not ready. What’s the point of paying extra through postmates and not getting good service. ??♀️
I ordered delivery on UberEats and they only delivered 1 of my bowls when I had ordered 3 and I literally called 20 times and no one ever picked up. The uber driver even said he asked if it was only one item and they told him yes. Would not recommend as you can't even get thru the phone.
I want more place like THIS!!! The guy working was so helpful and service was perfect. The juices are divine and the vegan + GF options are great [and tasty!]. Cocoa energy bite was awesome as well as the build your own to go cup (umm, so handy).
The lady (she had long hot pink nails) did not wear gloves when she made our food. We are living in a global pandemic right now, where cleanliness should be the most important factor for any business. Homegirl didn’t even wash her hands. I expected better and I will not be returning to this location. Go to the one on Richmond!
I was so excited to get my bowl as I placed my order. However, as I was waiting outside taking a phone call I saw that the lady making my order did not have gloves on! She had long pink nails and was cutting my fruits.. I went back in n kindly said “I noticed you weren’t wearing your gloves when making this order & im sorry I just dont feel comfortable. Aren’t you supposed to be wearing gloves when making orders?” to which she said “oh but I didn’t touch your food” ?? To which I said “but I just saw you cutting the fruits going on my order?”I was very disappointed and she was clearly upset as well but I do not think I did anything wrong.. Employees making any food should be wearing gloves especially during a time when we are in the middle of a global pandemic! I will not be returning to this location.
I love the açaí bowl here so I come by every Sunday morning! But after a bad experience I will not be returning. Staff member not friendly, did not wash hands, no gloves (super long nails).
I’m very stoked they opened a location in City Centre!! Best acai bowls in town!! I’ve been a customer and fan for a couple of years and the consistency is truly on point from location to location. Fresh as can be every time as well. Try them out...you won’t be disappointed!!
