I dropped by Java Pura Coffee Roasters just to buy some coffee and I was surprised to receive a tour of their facility. The coffee I purchased was roasted that day, and the friendly staff answered all my questions. Excellent coffee and great people!
First off... Disclaimer: this is a roaster. Not. A. Coffee. Shop. HOWEVER. Billy was kind enough to brew a fresh cup for me. What a place. Amazing variety of coffees. I can't thank him enough for taking the time to show and explain to me what they have and even give me some tips on my brewing process at home.
Found this place through a Google search while trying to find local coffee beans. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. The coffee tastes great, but more than that, the staff there are super friendly and down-to-earth, particularly Billy (I think that was the name lol) who greeted me. I got to see a bit past the store front as well, and got some great recommendations after explaining my preferences. Plus, as a decaf drinker, it's great that they use a Swiss water process for decaffeination. I'll definitely be back, if not just to support a local business that has really great people.
Great fresh coffee roaster almost everyday ! Love the fact I can grab a fresh bag any time during the week! Been drinking the Don Teofilo for years (best seller ). Can’t wait for their Xmas. Blend of every year as well!
I searched best coffee on Google, and I went to nearly every link that appeared in the top results. Java Pura was one of the names that came up and I decided to give it a try. What attracted me initially was their barrel aged coffee. After trying that, which was amazing, I decided to give their other coffees a try. After trying several others on the top recommended list, I found Java Pura to be the best. They have a ton of options, and unlike a lot of other roasters... Each of their coffees actually taste different to a high degree. Unfortunately, I have never been to their location as I am several states away, however, my coffee and tea pantry is never without a bag of Java Pura. So from a coffee connoisseur, that has only done business with them virtually, I am thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of doing business with Java Pura. If you aren't giving them a try, you are really missing out. Hopefully one day I will get to visit. FYI - at the time of this review... The Red Condor is my new favorite and I can't wait to receive my 5lb bag. I ordered today, and I'm super excited as I try to order something new every time I order.
For connoisseurs there's coffee and then there's coffee. Java Pura has a range of beautifully flavored and always freshly brewed coffees that will satisfy and excite any palette. It was clear after getting to meet the folks there that they love the process, they love getting creative, and they love coffee. That love is infectious and once I started trying their coffee I ended up trying more and more. My current favorite is Black Pearl dark roast, but if I'm honest my real favorite is whichever bag I have for that month. In short, thank you Java Pura for making coffee a fun and delicious experience I can look forward to each and every day!
I was in the area and searched on google for coffee roasters and this place showed up with a great rating. I went to check it out and boy was I glad I did! Their customer service is excellent! They answered all my questions in great details and very patiently. Their espresso blend is very good and my Americano came out smooth and velvety. I strongly recommend them!
No matter where I move to in the world, Java Pura remains my coffee roaster of choice. I have very sensitive skin and even the smallest amounts inflammation put me in to searing pain. Java Pura is the only coffee that I can drink reliably without any negative side effects. I am under the impression that most other roasters use supplemental caffeine, flavors, and/or preservatives, but not JP. I found Java Pura at the farmer's market when I was living in Houston, TX and was amazed by the flavor of their coffee. As I continued to visit their tent, I met their roaster, one of the partners, Richard, and many of their awesome staff. Richard told me about the partner's trips to meet their farmers and ensure the quality of the beans. He told me about the variety in roasting processes that they offer: my favorite being the Natural Process that Java Pura does a great job with. Java Pura might not compete with that fake flavor or diesel fuel level of caffeine that other companies offer, but if you are looking for an honest, luxury coffee, then look no further.
In Houston for a few days and needed fresh coffee beans for my morning Joe.I found this place near me and am glad I did.I called and placed my order with Rachel. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and very sweet.I will continue coming to this establishment for the duration of my stay.
