I ordered on DoorDash and when I tell you, this was terrible. I would never call this Jamaican food. It wasn’t even seasoned. The rice and peas are not actual rice and peas the jerk pork has no seasoning, the plantains hadn’t been cooked enough, the salad was wilted, and they added like canned beans on the side ???? I couldn’t even finish the meal. I don’t order from here it is terrible. This is coming from someone who use to live in Queens, has been to Jamaica, and has had plenty of Jamaican food from friends and their parents.It’s not the lack of authenticity that makes it bad, it’s just poorly prepared. 0/5
The brownskin woman at the register has a really BAD ATTITUDE every time I come there she's rolling her eyes, she ALWAYS look upset about something! The women at the register clearly lack training and manners, they need someone to boost up their confidence, they're lazy incompetent and always grumpy SMH!I won't be back+ They never get the order right anyway✌?
Been eating here for years the jerk shrimp and vegetable plate is always hitting I love it. If you lookin for good food this is definitely a go too spot.
Smh. If you really want to save ur restaurant u should make the investment and hire someone who specializes in Jamaican cuisine to come on board and help you with your dishes. This was a disappointment, below average, lower than mediocre. Strange tasting as well and very salty. And this is coming from someone who loves seasoned food, but I experienced swelling after eating some of your food. I would also advice you to get a water filtration system. You might have bad water because it seems like there’s this weird bad water after taste throughout all your food. Jamal do better man. And take some time to put more care and effort into your business if u wanna stay open. The food is what’s going to keep your customers coming back and if the food is bad, you won’t keep customers. This was the first and last time I’ll ever order from this restaurant, unless y’all do a complete revamp.

I'm sorry but this food was trash,not Jamaican or Jerk!Very bland with tons of pimento seeds go to Caribbean Hot pot if you want REAL Jamaican food.

It's the third week of August, in Houston and it's hot. I see...Jamal's and I turn around to try it. Didn't know what to expect, but willing to take a chance. I get the Triple Threat. Shrimp. Chicken. Pork. Rice, peas, a bit of cabbage and plantains. The box is so very heavy as I carry it out to the car. I peak at it, and all I can see is deliciousness. I finally get home and oh.my.goodness. So spicy. So tangy. So rich. So delicious! There was SO MUCH FOOD. I had it over a couple of days. The flavor just deepens with time. It was delicious and you must try it!
I have been craving oxtail. Ewww lawdddd... let's just say, I wasted my money. I'm in pissotivity!
