Grabbed a quick lunch with my cousin and our server was very nice and attentive. Quickly seated when we got there around 12:45 pm.I got the apple compote chicken with waffle and side of hash browns. She got the wings and waffle combo with hash browns. My chicken was juicy and nicely breaded. Waffle was fluffy and I liked the apple compote, sweet but it was a small enough portion it wasn’t overwhelming. The menu was huge so I’ll have to try something else next time. 5 stars for my first visit all around.

Omelettes are great!!!

I've been here a few times, and I'm always happy with my visit. The servers are smiling, the food is fresh and well-prepared, and this past week I had their Wednesday pho for the first time. It was Huge! I ate my fill and still had to take the rest to go. Very tasty, and the bean sprouts were fat and crispy with great flavor. I have been telling everyone about it. I definitely recommend Jackie's.

This is probably my go to breakfast diner that me and my boyfriend have gone to almost every other weekend since I’ve moved to Houston! The ladies and chefs that work here are phenomenal. I can openly say I’ve tried multiple things off the menu and loved each of them. Reminds me of a place back at home, definitely give Jackie’s a try, they’re worth it!!

Very friendly. Also very packed. Granted I went on a Saturday morning trying to get a takeout order before I headed into work so it was a little frustrating when you're trying to call the restaurant to place an order and you can't get anyone to answer the phone for 45 minutes. When I ended up getting there I saw just how packed it was. Not even enough room to park your car so I just made a parking spot for myself and ran inside to place the order. The food was actually good, not the best I've ever had, but definitely better than anything Denny's and IHOP are I'm pumping out right now. Like Denny's used to be really good but it just seems like the quality of the food has gone down the toilet. So yeah in conclusion, it's good food, but I guess depending on the day it can be packed as hell in there, and then of course there's the price. The plates are around $12 but I got an extra piece of bacon and an extra piece of sausage and all the sudden my ticket jumped up to almost $17. So yeah not really worth $17, but I guess that's my fault for not checking the price of a single strip of bacon ?‍♂️

A place for great tasting food breakfast or lunch. Very good pancakes. Love the veggie omelette. Great staff.

Great place, well loved by its patrons! The bustling crowd each time I come for breakfast. Despite this, the waiters are attentive, the orders come fast out and the food is tasting delicious! Kudos!!!

Good no-frills diner with fast and friendly service! We arrived expecting a wait as they were pretty busy at Sunday around 1pm, but we were surprised to be seated and served right away despite the rush. I had the chocolate chip pancakes, hash browns, and coffee. Everything was hot and fresh and our waitress was very attentive. Will definitely be back for a simple and fast weekend breakfast/lunch.

good food good service.

What an amazing hidden gem in Houston! We are always looking for new places to go for breakfast when we’re in the city and I’m so glad we found this place! Delicious food, great prices and huge plates! Do not pass this place by!
