Pizza not the same. Thin crust pizza too thick. Supreme pizza toppings not the same. Not spread out and in chunks. Sauce not the same and cheese was thicker. Heard ownership changed so thought pizza would be the sameI’ve been going there for over 30 years and was fantasticWas disappointed.

The food is average and the service is average. After being seated, I had to go look for our waiter after at least 5+ minutes or more. After ordering the food, it was taking forever, but our waiter hilariously gave us a small bowl of croutons to "munch" on. Food finally came and I'm sorry to do this to a local place, but it's just average tasting.
Place has been around for a long time and it shows. Yellow salad over poured w/basic dressing. Burnt pizza.Price is right for what you get. No thrills, nothing authentic. Italianos 2 mins from here has full bar, wide menu better prices and not half as good service as the Humble Italianos but more options than good old J christos. Seems like business will die w the age of its customers.
Family owned and operated. Delicious food. We especially like the pesto Ravioli, thin pizza and affordable lunch options. Definitely our go-to when it comes to pizza in kingwood!
This is my first time trying this pizza spot & im highly disappointed. Dried up pizza. And to make matters worse, this is a snapshot of the pizza warmed up. Still, dry. I’m definitely calling for a resolution when they open in the morning. Yes this is carry out. Yes it does taste burnt & crispy. I checked the box before leaving restaurant however since this is a new spot for us to try, I literally tried them out & am disappointed.
Tried this place a few times. First time I got a hard piece of bread I couldn’t bite into. Tonight, my pizza was just ok, but I’m extremely disappointed in the amount of meat on a medium pizza that I paid $20 for. Please see photo. This place must be a joke. I’ll go to Italianos. Thanks but no thanks J. Christopher’s.
I love this place! Pizza and sandwiches are the best. Do get the chicken and Swiss next time you go!
We've lived in Kingwood for over 12 years and J. Christopher has always been the best pizza in KW. Wither it's delivery or in restaurant the food is always fresh and tasty! Inside the atmosphere is fantastic and homely. And of course there's their fantastic croutons!!
My family and I have loved the thin crust extra crispy pizza with toppings literally for decades. But when we ordered it in delivery for the first time in a while in August it was awful—soggy, no taste, horrible. I was embarrassed because my son brought a friend home, and we had raved about the pizza at JC. So I thought maybe just a bad batch and recently ordered with a friend again inside this time. Even worse. They have either changed the cheese they use or the recipe or something. Huge disappointment. Won’t be back, and that’s a shame after so many years of being such a tradition in KW.
