I've always loved this place, but this is the first time I've actually dined in instead of doing door dash. Everyone was so nice, and of course the food was amazing. If you ever come here, make sure you order the dumplings and takoyaki. They are so delicious!
I think there is a reason that this place is popular and gets good reviews. Yes the ambiance is great but mostly I think it is because they seem to care about the quality of their dishes and service. Every piece of food was delicious. I brought my work crew here because it was well rated, and the food was amazing across the board. Obvious care and love of their craft. Keep it up!
Very Impressed!!! The staff was incredibly friendly upon arrival and the facilities were quite nice. Selection was good and the overall atmosphere was just great!Claire did a fantastic job of recommending a delicious meal and her service was exceptional throughout the entire meal! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Thoroughly impressed with the entire experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Food and service was good but just a little slow. Well, as the saying goes, nothing good comes easily! So if you have time, this place has good variety of good Japanese dishes. I love the sticks given in an aluminum tub. It was crispy and a really good snack.

I got the spicy pork belly udon and it was amazing! I went with a big group and tried some of my friends dishes as well and everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back for more. The menu is huge with so many choices. Plenty of parking. The waitstaff were so friendly and attentive.
We came during the holiday evening so it was quite crowded. The staff is very nice and found an open spot for us. The poke bowl and roll are pretty good. The highlight is the udon bowl. The broth is tasty and the noodles are chewy. The dessert is also very good. Definitely recommend.

Izakaya Hi has it all - Upon stepping in, the ambiance carried me to Japan. Great vibes on a Friday night. Delicious, indulging food - quality sashimi, generous cut, and serve at the perfect temperature. Extensive dinner and drinks menu. All the plates we had were delicious. Friendly services. What a Houston gem!
