Nice all around great food and nice music
I’m a picky eater, especially when it comes to our local island dishes. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything I had was perfect! I live on the north side of Houston but I will definitely be making occasional trips to the south just to part take in their delicious dishes.
Growing up in Caribbean and since moving back to the states, it’s been difficult to find anything close to home. The rice and peas are the best I’ve had and the jerk chicken tastes just like home. The pepper sauce is probably the best I’ve had and now I want to buy jars of it!
I ordered the Medium Oxtails came with (rice, fried plantains & cabbage) and a beef meat pie. The food was delicious! We went as a group so our food took a little time but the meat pies are already made so we got those first. The hot sauce was spicy but sweet and paired perfectly with the meat pies. Will definitely be coming back!
I can't say enough, the food is perfect ? the oxtail is something to die for ?,this is my go to place now whenever I'm in H town, nice service it's a true Caribbean vibe. Barrington levy tunes playing in the background man, good vibes
Great affordable tasting Caribbean cuisine. The seasoning and spice level of the Escovitch fish was on point.
the rasta pasta with jerk chicken was delicious. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the music is also pretty chill highly recommend
Very clean and reasonable price with awesome dishes. Jerky chicken was accompanied with plantain, cabbage slaw black beans and rice with jerky chicken. It was so fresh so good.
Quite possibly the best Caribbean food I've ever eaten. I ordered the medium oxtail. Portions are large. The food was so delicious, I ordered two more servings to go. If you're in Houston and enjoy Caribbean cuisine, this is the place to go. Friendly atmosphere as well.
