Horrible service and wait time. As a DoorDash driver, orders are supposed to be ready at a certain time and maybe a few minutes over. I had to wait 20 minutes PAST the ready time. No place to sit and with no blinds from their windows, I was sweating and burning up. The people could care less about me and the other delivery driver who had also been waiting there for over 20 minutes as well and the guy before both of us.
The restaurant environment was very nice but the service and food was very very abysmal. I ordered some bbq buns and they were legitimately hard as a rock i could probably knock someone out with it. The food took ages to arrive as well and the menu is very hit or miss. They charge normal restaurant prices for cheap generic asian food that you could get at JJ’s china diner for half the price. I recommend to look elsewhere for decent Chinese food this is just another low quality place.
Shrimp & veg lunch, 1 order Steamed dumplings, 2xtra egg rolls, 1 pint each of Egg Drop Soup and Wonton soup. No sauce in shrimp/veg's, sweet & sour sauce tasted like red vinegar, no sweetness, dumplings were so doughy, not made from wonton wrappers like most restaurants. Really disappointed. Panda Express will be my go to choice for delivery. Not worth $40... ??♀️
The food is great, and we always have good service. I have made reservations twice. Each time, our tables were ready.
Delicious! Takeout was tasty and only a short wait even though they were very busy.
I ordered online for the first time…(never ate here before) and the pepper shrimp was good and flavorful!! The dumplings are even homemade! I’ll definitely be back. The prices are bad for the large amount of food you get. I had plenty of leftovers!
Best Chinese food on earth! I have driven 4 hours out of the way to eat here Great place for a first date or business meeting I used to frequent the establishment in Kingwood. This one is so much more modern! Bravo! The food is always good and consistent. Tonight I felt like I was at a fancy place downtown. The service was topnotch. Waitress was perfect. The food is so good here. I always end up ordering extra. Try the crab puffs! Best general chao. These guys never miss!
I just ordered a chicken and broccoli and also ordered extra sauce. I am new to Houston but I never knew the sauce was white and watery. I have ALWAYS had brown sauce with my chicken and broccoli. The presentation was ok but the chicken had no seasonings and was just forced to add additional seasoning when I got home. Definitely not worth $14.
Food was delicious. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Texas. Was a little disappointed that our favorite waitress wasn't there.
I hate doing this as I love the food from this restaurant and supporting small businesses but yesterday was completely unacceptable. I put in an order (through the restaurant not a 3rd party) for delivery at 5:45 PM. My estimated time of delivery was 6:30. 6:40 rolls around and I called just to check in and was told there was traffic on North Park due to an accident, which is reasonable. 20 more mins go by and I was told the same thing. We live prob 10 mins from the location. Several other times of 20 mins go by and I’m told the same story and that it’ll be any minute. One of the managers offered me $5 off my next order (Yippe - my order was $30+). After a hour and a half (and checking Waze and Facebook for an accident) when I call and say I’m disputing the credit card charge as there is no accident on North Park nor traffic and to cancel the order they came clean and said they delivered the food to the wrong house. I asked why they lied several times and my question was ignored. Never offered to comp my food or anything. Just $5 credit for next time. I likely will order again when I am no longer completely irritated how this was handled but will never order delivery again. The delivery driver laughed when he finally did deliver the food at 8:10. I am a reasonable person and you should have come clean initially. People make mistakes as we are human but lying is not acceptable if you want to keep someone’s business.
