Delicious Vietnamese food with a really great craft beer selection. What a cool combo! I’ll be back when on this side of town again.
Ordered take-out online - notified by text when the food was ready, which was faster than expected. The drive-thru pick up set up is super convenient and the staff who brought out the food were helpful and friendly. Portion size was actually bigger than I was expecting, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Not sure why I waited so long to try Hughie's, but I'll definitely order take out from them again!
One of the best kale salads I’ve had and typically I don’t like kale lol. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing and cranberries are a nice balance to the bitterness kale leaves can have. Salmon cooked perfectly.
First time coming in and I'm glad I did.. Excellent food! I ordered the Shaken Shrimp with egg roll and thai tea. Everything was delicious!! The kale salad that came with the meal was very good.. The dressing is tangy and very flavorful.. Even if you're not a kale lover, I think you'll like it because it wasn't tough.. it was easy to eat.. The eggroll was very meaty as well. Usually most places stuff it with mostly cabbage, but this looked like mostly meat and also very flavorful. I'm definitely coming back to try their other items.
Awesome place. Very casual, super super friendly waiters and hostesses. The staff seems to enjoy what they do. I noticed the staff smile and laugh with one another. We had at least 3 different staff come to our table and ask if we needed anything, each one very friendly. Great, no, AWESOME Beer on Tap selection. The Shaken beef and Shrimp were fabulous. The crispy dumplings were amazing. Egg roles also amazing. Will definitely be back.

great Vietnamese food with a chill hangout vibe. they offer curbside take out for a quick lunch. a cozy dine in with a good beer selection. the small parking lot can be crowded. the spaces are very tight.
Anytime you’re in HTX stop by my grandma’s favorite Vietnamese grille and tavern. The shaking beef, chicken and shrimp are to die for. They have a great beer menu any enthusiast would rate highly. Call ahead or come in a dine ? for an amazing experience.
I normally don't feel the need to leave a review, but today it's warranted. The service sucked! The waitress pressed me to order the brisket pho. I ordered the pho without cilantro. The waitress said she would place the order as "no onion mix." I politely told her I wanted onions. She brought me the pho without onions. When I asked her where's the onions, she said it was there. Do you see any onions in this photo? I don't think it's appropriate to lie to patrons. I'm astonished at the lack of respect from the staff. You don't treat customers this way if you value your business. Also, she just assumed I wanted water, which had a fly in it. I didn't finish my pho and tofu banh mi was bland.
My first time here. Decided to start simple. I ordered spring rolls, bbq wings and an iced tea.They were busy but service was quick and friendly. I sat at the bar and was shortly after waited on. The waitress was friendly and even though I had a hard time understanding her through her mask, we got through it.The spring rolls were fresh and wings were very fresh and crispy (not greasy). They had very good sauce and well seasoned.The iced tea was fresh and cold. Overall very good. I will be back.
