Brisket Mac was insanely good. Homemade strawberry lemonade fantastic. Also a large portion worthy of the price. Quick and friendly. My only complaint that made me knock it down a star is the packaging. For anyone who is vegan for sustainability reasons will hate that the lemonade is in plastic and the meal comes in styrofoam. For those reasons I unfortunately won’t be back unless it changes. But I will dream of the flavors!

Simply loved this place at first, although they were hard to catch cause the line would be for•ev•errr long, and would run outta stuff by the time you make it to the front. Sadly it seemed as of lately that the food doesn't have the same pizzazz. It was lacking, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Still one of the few places that serve vegan BBQ.

Something is going on with Sauce Pit Lately! It use to be consistently good. The last visits have been awful. I think management needs to crack down on quality control. The portions size have gotten smaller but the price is the same. Tonight the link dinner did not have the texture or flavor it normally has. It was like they just barely cook the links and slap some sauce on it… very very disappointed. Then the portion was half we used to get….. I want to support them and will give it one more shot, but they need to step up and not let their guard down. Keep doing what made them popular. Good portions and awesome flavors every time!
So delicious! I ordered a links plate with Mac n cheez and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts and links were AMAZING! I can't sing enough praises to their deliciousness. The mac was ok. I've had better and worse. They have a few chairs and a picnic table to sit and eat at. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to eat here again and try more menu items
We hired the Sauce Pit to cater my son's wedding, and they actually brought the food truck to my backyard, which was the wedding venue. The guests were able to sample a variety of vegan "meats" and side dishes, and it was a big hit. The food was outstanding! The leftover food was packaged up for us, and we had sliders for days. My only complaint was that they arrived almost an hour late. However, it was not an issue as our wedding got started late. I highly recommend them for your next BBQ event!
Like most vegan places this was place was definitely out of my way but worth the trip. The Frito pie was the best! My non vegan mom and sister enjoyed it. The gentleman that took my order was very polite and helpful. I went on a Friday during lunch time and there was no line.
I ordered the Loaded Brisket Mac and Smoked Links Sandwich with potato salad and brussels sprouts. The Loaded Brisket Mac was soooo flavorful and really good! The Smoked Link sandwich was delicious and the Brussel sprouts were savory as if there was meat cooked with them. I gave 4.5 stars because the potato salad was meh. All in all, the food was excellent and I'd definitely hit them up whenever I'm in Houston. Also had a chance to take shots of adult beverages by Chaka.
