It was a good but nothing I would crave and have to come back for in the future. $15 for a burger and $8 for fries is a little steep for what we received. I asked for my prime burger to be cooked medium. It had the slightest amount of pink in the middle. The fries are nothing fancy. Frozen Processed Shoestring with Parmesan Sprinkled on top served with a truffle sauce that was overwhelming. The one thing I did enjoy was the $5 big glass Paloma on special for happy hour. Service was mediocre and not very friendly. Also they don't accept good Ole American cash which is crazy too me. Card only fyi
Good place, portion sizes are plenty and lots of burger varieties to choose from. There are some vegan options as well. The ambience is apt for a social gathering. Once, we had ordered a takeout and the veggie burger was pretty salty. It felt like the salt in the burger was not balanced well, some bites were so salty and some did not have salt at all. The fries tasted good however they arrived pretty soggy.
Great tasting burgers with good portion sizes. Definitely a go to place if you're having a burger craving.
My margarita on the rocks was very very good I only needed half of one. The veggie burger is very good I had mine with their grilled onions and their caffeinated barbecue sauce it was so delicious. The buffalo wing french fries were so tasty but they did not cook them crispy enough before putting barbecue sauce on them so they were quite soggy. The Lonestar beer came in a huge glass it was there a lager my husband had it. He really liked their classic burger and the homemade buns were amazing. Great waiter was very helpful for our first time they’re getting us through the process. When we arrived there was a guy playing a guitar just outside of their outdoor seating area but by the time we got seated he was leaving due to the time we were there in the early afternoon.
Weather was perfect. Had the thunderbird burger with Buffalo fries. The burger was very good and I like you can see them make the fries but I feel they were overcooked and lacked in the Buffalo sauce. But the bartender did very well on the Doble Fina margarita. Definitely recommend trying at least once. We went to the Morningside location.
The burger was juicy and full of flavor. I love fries and ordered the share a bowl thinking I would be alright but man do they give you a lot??? I regretted not ordering a milkshake when I saw one passing my table so that's definitely on the list for next time. Cool environment, great service, definitely will go back.
So I went to Hopdoddy Burger Bar and tried to order a beyond patty… great! Do you have veganaise yes! Wonderful, do you have vegan cheese yes!!! This is amazing… BUT, all of our bun options have dairy/butter… what??? Why would you guys go through all this trouble only to fumble the ball at the 1 yard line??? We can do a lettuce wrap ?? How hard is it to have a piece of bread that’s unbuttered? We use butter in the mix… Grrrr…

Great burgers, great fries and cool staff. I would stick my neck on the fire here and say these are the best burgers in Houston just check my image below. This particular location offers 2 hr free parking so its nice, just be sure to park on the garage 2nd floor & above
Tasty burger & hatch chili fries. Hot chicken not too spicy. A little pricy, but I would return. Outdoor seating great for kids and ambiance.
