Was over priced and the server raised her voice wanting more tip.Even tho I already put $5 already. There is no law where I have to give more. And the lady that brought us our food went home and this was a new lady. She has no right to get the tip in the first place. This is the most over priced dim sum ever. The server was rude. That's all I can say. I'm never coming here again and telling all my friends and other family members. By far the worst and rude and lastly most expensive compared to all others places around them. DO NOT COME HERE.DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

The place was packed, so I thought it would be good. I was incredibly mistaken. Every dish was way too salty. Several dishes were also overcooked and unchewable. Also, the tables are too small, I feel like a magicians trying to saw me in half. Furthermore, this place coded the shrimp dumplings as a large item when it's small at literally every other dim sum place. Their prices are already too high as it is, and they're still resorting to this chicanery. If you like spending too much money and eating subpar food, this place is the one.

Wanted to have some Chinese food in Chinatown, including dim sum items, and decided eat here. Got Beef Chow Fun, Shrimp Fried Rice, and several dumplings dishes. Food was tasty but not the best of this kind of food that we've had. Service was fast and friendly. It was a feeling of really being in Chinatown, but at a peak time with all tables filled it is not the biggest space. All in all we were satisfied.

Really loved the steamed shrimp dumplings and the Shanghai style dumplings. Fried dumplings were good but a bit greasy. Lots of menu items to pick from, so there's plenty more to explore.

Summary: Inconsistent quality dim sum. Below average dining environment.Dim Sum quality was a hit or miss depending on what you order.* Vegetable & Shrimp Dumpling - good. tasty.* Steamed Shrimp Rice Noodle - good. well made with fresh ingredients. Rice noodle skin could be a bit thinner.* Pan Fried Turnip Cake - good.* Steamed BBQ Bun - good.* Tripe with Ginger & Onions - good. tasty.* Shrimp Steamed Dumpling - not made well. the dumpling skin was flaky and broke easily.* Steamed Pork Dumpling Shanghai Style - not good. the dumpling was dry, no juice. presentation was sloppy.* Seafood Scrambled Egg Chow Fun - awful. improperly made. BBQ Pork chunks tasted super gamy. Fried Chow Fun was a sticky, half-cooked mess.Dining environment was below average. Seating is very cramped. Tables were inexcusably dirty. My table also had a large, dangerous crack in the glass top. Service bogged down during busy hours and the wait staff becomes somewhat defensive when clients inquire on food readiness.

Dim Sum is great, have more items than Kim Son does now since after COVID.

Hong Kong Dim Sum is very small restaurant with very tight spaces and difficult to move about. It is specialized in Dim Sum (small breakfast dishes). DO NOT try to order individual dish from the menu (it does have a full menu), however those individual dishes were very poor prepared. The Seafood Stir Fried Noodle was substandard. It had 6 very tiny shrimps, some squids no vegetables lot of onions. It was not season to any taste. The server did not write down the orders so one of the dishes was left out until 45 minutes later when it was reminded. So, the wait was 1 hour. The prices are a bit high compare to similar restaurants.

BE CAREFUL EATING HERE. I am sorry to leave this review because I am sure the owners of this restaurant did not intend to have a disgrace for a restaurant, but today I tasted the most disgusting food I have ever put in my mouth and it was at HK Dim Dum and that’s the truth. I have had dim sum all over Asia, North America, and other countries (I travel internationally a whole lot, on average 52 international flights a year) and what I ate today was anything but dim sum. Infact all it was was mushed up seafood in an overly sticky and excessively grainy substance that all broke apart letting the filling Spill out. It also smelled rotten clearly been frozen and defrosted multiple times. Unfortunately for me I’ll end up taking antibiotics for the inevitable food poisoning that will come from me managing to eat just one of the shrimp dim sum.service wise, the male waitress was extreamly unfriendly. I am quite timid and I give off a very mellow vibe so why he was so rude to me was perplexing. The final straw was when I asked if they had another bottle of soy sauce without a broken top and glass in the bottle (which is in itself ridiculous to find broken glass shards in a bottle of soy sauce, carelessly left open on a table for flies and other germs the fester is beyond mind blowing) he literally hissed at me and walked off. I swiftly asked for the bill which amounted to $36.40, I paid for it despite not eating any of the disgust presented to me as food for humans, left a $0 tip and walked out.NEVER EVER AGAIN. This place should be inspectEd by the health authorities and closed down. We as tax paying citizens should not be exposed to this danger

Pretty quaint and intimate spot. I got the pan friend pork dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, chicken fried rice, and green beans with just the garlic. The waitresses were pretty nice to me nothing too special. I really like the green beans, and the chicken friend Grace that I also got. Looooved the pan friend dumplings. The steam pork dumplings didn’t have much soup in them, maybe they were supposed to ? But the flavors were nice . I went just me and ended up having to take 3/4ths of my order home.
