Amazing brisket and pulled pork. Great beans and cole slaw. The broccoli salad had a lot more dressing than I like, so i would pick something else next time. They have tons of cool products from small producers, several local, lining the shelves. Definitely would go back!
This is some very very good brisket !!!! And the ribs are fall off the bone awesome !!! Nice little store here in the neighborhood. You would never think the food would be this good. But it truly is delicious and worth a trip out.
Great little neighborhood general store which happens to serve some of the best BBQ in Houston.I had the 2-meat platter with beans. The brisket is on par with some of the best joints in Texas Monthly's annual Best Of write-ups; and the jalapeno cheddar links are outstanding. Portion sizes were good.Friendly staff + management, and a nice selection of unique goods.I'll certainly return, as it's fairly equidistant to me from another outstanding local BBQ joint, but the lines here are shorter...at least for now.
Stopped by for an afternoon snack, and enjoyed shopping the wide variety of specialty and gourmet foods from regional makers. The Migaloo dark chocolate with orange, made in Cypress TX, was especially yummy! So happy to be introduced to this place and will definitely visit again to enjoy their bbq. It smelled heavenly!

As advertised fantastic BBQ in a down home community setting. Recommend the sampler plate with 5 meats and 3 sides. BBQ done perfectly along with sides. Ample portions- we had enough for lunch and dinner Super friendly staff

Really incredible food - the ambience (outside, where I ate) was lovely, and the staff was fun and helpful and competent, all great, but omg the chopped brisket sandwich on toast was spectacular. Had some Meaty Mac and Cheese and it was pretty incredible. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant or its staff. Can't wait to come back, and will do so soon!
Stopped in for burger night with my wife. I understand its a small business and that with limited staff, things can run a bit slow. What I don't understand is waiting 20 minutes for a burger that wasn't hot (unmelted cheese) and then having to cancel our order of fries after waiting 30 minutes. French fries take 3 minutes at 350F oil (I've worked fast food).Burger was still really good, despite not being hot.
