The food was amazing. Burger was as advertised - fresh and delicious. Salmon wrap was a generous portion of salmon seasoned to perfection. If you are a fry officanado this is your place! If you are heading to the airport or catching your private jet, swing into this gem under the control tower at Houston Hobby

My girlfriend and I have been meaning to check this place out for a while now, but never got a chance because we only eat out on Saturdays. When we saw that Hangar Kitchen started opening on that day, we knew the time was now. First impressions when you walk in is that the owner really put a lot of thought into the overall look and vibe of this restaurant being next to Hobby airport. There are a ton of little flight knick knacks all over the place, and even an arriving/departure board on the wall (not sure how they managed to get that synced with the actual flights). The menu is super impressive with the amount of unique choices they have, which all sound amazing. We spoke with the owner, and it sounds like he really wants to experiment with unique menu items often, which is awesome. They also have a really large beer selection as well as a full bar, if you're in the mood for a drink. The food itself is REALLY good. I got the B-52 Bomber burger and my girlfriend got the OOO-Mami burger. Both were great, but her's definitely won. We also got the billionaire tots and truffle fries, which were also great. I'm trying to think of any cons, and the only one I can think of is that the bathroom sink faucet scared the HELL out of me because it's both the faucet AND the hand dryer. (craziest thing I've ever seen, but it's sort of shaped like a plane, so it goes with the vibe). They could also probably stand to be a LITTLE bit more staffed, but that's definitely a very common issue for most restaurants these days, so I get it. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. We will absolutely be back to try some of the other awesome sounding burgers, and to see how this place continues to grow.

Smell of good food knocks you in the face when you open the door. The frozen mango margarita is amazing. I wonder if it was real mango. It wasn't too sweet but fresh. I'll ask next time.Worth another visit.

What a hidden gem! The Hangar Kitchen is located within minutes from Hobby Airport-it has impeccable tasting food, a large menuand a plethora of wine/craft beers. The staff is friendly and your order is made within minutes; it’s the perfect place for the lunch time crowd. If you haven’t already give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Great food at reasonable prices. Service is very good also. Worth the drive from anywhere.

These gourmet burgers are on a whole other level! What’s so special? All the sauces and meat are made in house! The burger patties are freshly ground daily, a blend of chuck, short rib, and brisket. Their bacon is also homemade and I’ve never had tastier bacon! Pictured burgers are the Notorious P.I.G., Love Ya Blue, and Henny Over… and those tots… oooh baby, those are Billionaire Tots! And for the non-burger lovers out there, don’t worry there are plenty of other options on the menu, salmon, po-boys, sandwiches, salads and more! You’re going to be thankful when your flight is delayed and you get to spend extra time here… :) and for those of you running late, you can order online for pickup. This is much tastier than in airport food! ⁣

Great food, great atmosphere, great service!

The atmosphere reminds meet of being at a airport Bar. The food is definitely worth trying as the Vegan Chicken Sandwich was delicious. The Craft Beer Selection was pretty nice as well with about 6 Taps and a Fridge with Bottles and cans from some of H-Towns finest Craft Beer Breweries. They also have an Arrival and Departure Board just in case!!!

Hanger Kitchen is a good restaurant. Don't let the appearance fool you. They have a limited menu, but do those dishes very well. I have been there twice and I have enjoyed my dinners both times very much. They do have beer and wine. They even have a house beer I like.

Delicious food, friendly service with cool theme! Appreciate the cleanliness
