H.E.B. is the best grocery store in the whole world I love going there to get my groceries. They have the best salsa the best peanut butter the best pizza crust. This is all store made stuff too. If you park downstairs you can take the escalator down to the bottom and your grocery cart goes down an escalator too ,it's kind of cool. It's the best escalator I've ever been on.
The vegan section used to be amazing, but whoever is directing the store to separate every.single.vegan.item and organize it by mixing it in the meat market and real cheese sections… please put it back. No one is wanting to search for dairy free/vegan cheese by searching specifically for Mexican blend cheese and hunting down the one vegan packet on a wall of dairy Mexican cheese blends. I’d imagine a non vegan shopper would be upset if they accidentally grabbed the dairy free packet as well since it’s all blended together now.It is absolute chaos now and I hope the manager sees this and changes it back. This was clearly a directive by a non vegan because it makes absolutely 0 sense.Additionally, the sections labeled “plant based” have 100% dairy type products and dips…Happy to offer my vegan consumer expertise to make the experience better for all shoppers.
HEB employees are consistently, helpful, respectful, and kind. A young lady(supervisor) was helping me with my groceries she forgot her cellphone on my walker. I asked to speak with her to make sure she got her phone. Food is ridiculous, but I love the fact that the folks at HEB will go out of their way to help you. This review is for the bakery staff! There are amazing and very professional people. I was a bit worried about the color of a cake I ordered because it wasn't the actual color you see in the catalog and the manager and staff were very nice, they redid the whole cake on the spot, quickly, and this really made me happy. Thank you all!
Just left this location not too long and I had to leave a review about my poor experience. Mind you, all I purchased was a sandwich, chips, and a soda. As I approached the self checkout, the employee who was overseeing the self checkout was staring at me as if she had an issue. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to checkout with my items. As I’m checking out this young lady just watched me and even went so far to hover around me while I made my purchase. It was an uncomfortable experience and it made me feel targeted for no reason. She then proceeded to bad mouth me in Spanish to one of her other coworkers (because she probably didn’t think I understood). I don’t know if she was just having an off day or what, but your staff needs better training on dealing with customers.
OK trip but I was overcharged for sweet corn that was obviously past it's prime. Tough to watch these quick checkers! Nice people this trip. Fish looks wonderful.
Great daily prices. HEB got it right when they named the store HERE EVERYTHINGS BETTER.. Their store brand is better than name brand. Employees are very kind, respectful & helpful. I love HEB!!!
Nice big grocery store always has what I need in stocks(besides the blueberry vanilla goat cheese hahaha) lots of parking, carts and baskets at a surplus
Curbside is the best thing ever! The food is off great quality as well.
I am not on a Partner at HEB, but I am a loyal customer as well. HEB goes out and beyond to provide the best customer service send shopping experience possible. As well as giving back to the communities that are in the area of their stores. This is why I ❤ HEB!
