Note to self, if I ever return don't come as soon as they open! Their cashier and two cooks showed up over 30 minutes after they opened, causing the, I'm assuming, the two owners to get slammed! We never received our appetizer, the acholic drinks weren't completely frozen yet! Two of our orders came out, and were 1/2 done before I had to get upset about my daughter's food hadn't come out! We were ready to walk out the door, and out cones the boudian balls.after realizing he never rung them up, after 5 people behind us had been served their food! No apologies, that's not how you do business.i know lots of places make mistakes, a genuine apology goes a long way! Even though you served us the boudian balls to go, no apologies. I just should have followed my first mind and went elsewhere, husband looking at social pictures brought us here for the first and last time! O yeah, the older cook walks straight in, puts on gloves, and start cooking, ummm so you don't need to was your hands first!
Had a taste for boudin balls so I came here and ordered a few other things to go. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. Next thing I know I found myself coming back again the next couple of days! The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back, everyone is so polite and attentive to the customers needs. Black owned and they have all races coming in to enjoy the great food and service. I definitely recommend anyone to come here if you want great, fresh food.
The service was impeccable, the food was great and will be returning soon.Well true to my word I returned yesday and had a Fryday. Everything was as good as before. The owner was hands-on and gave friendly service

Omgosh YES!!! Love privately owned restaurants, and this one is stellar!!! The bronzed shrimp with dirty rice and steamed vegetables is freaking awesome and my husband had to smack my hand to keep me out of his gumbo. They care about their art of crafting delicious Cajun food. The decor is awesome and the folks are sweet as can be. We will be back for sure!!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! This is my first time here but definitely won't be the last! The good is really good. I had fried shrimp and catfish with red beans and rice... SOOOO FLAVORFUL!! And the daiquiri are the best I've ever had!. Great place to come and chill, have dune drinks and eat. I'll definitely come back!! ??
This was some of best food I have ever had in my life! It was so flavorful and the portions are perfect. I would highly recommend this place to absolutely everyone! it may not look like much but this place is a diamond hidden in the rough!
Friendly staff, cozy Cajun environment and beer on tap! I was craving gumbo so I stopped in here on a whim. The gumbo was Texas style and hearty. I'll be going back to try their surf and turf burger!
The woman who was behind the counter also made our food, she was the most polite person i’ve ever encountered! She made us feel right at home & welcomed. It was extremely nice to talk to one of the men & get to know more about them & their restaurant while waiting on our food. Their catfish was THEE absolute BESSSSTT!!! Their bread was so fireeee & their fried shrimp too. We can’t wait to come back again!
I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp and sweet potato fries were on point . Very crispy and just the right taste. I like it stupid hot so just ask for Louisiana hot sauce if you need that kick. … beans n rice were on point , with sausage and ground beef and all the spices that made it all nicest ….. don’t for get to grab A Daiquiri!!! They are crazy LA hurricane strong !!!!!!!
