A complete vibe! We are visiting from Richmond, VA and I appreciate the whole dynamic of the lounge. The hookah was bussing and premium drinks for happy hour. Friday day time was a lit movement we stayed there all day lol. Big shoutout to Manager Clay from running a good vibe and attentive to atmosphere. We will definitely be back Grooves!
Wow, the food was good, liquor was on point (got to try the mimosas flight), music, atmosphere, and fellow patrons was such a vibe. New fav spot. I had the red velvet chicken and waffles the chic was kinda salty but went well with the sweet waffles, my wife had the cat fish and grits with creole sauce she loved it but said she could have done without the sauce. Right before we left I started dancing, I could not hold it anymore and most the patrons joined in.... such the vibe gotta try.
My sister and I dropped on for Saturday brunch. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food! Overall the service was fantastic - the manager and what appeared to be an owner stopped by to say hello and the bus staff picked up dirty dishes right away. We were greeted by a two servers but ended up getting the less friendly of the two. I had the regular french toast vice the casserole with a side of bacon and eggs. The french toast was light, fluffy and had a subtle orange flavor. The eggs were well seasoned and the bacon was nice and crispy. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted by the manager, Clay, with a mimosa. I also ordered a mimosa flight. They have a cute photo area near the door and the DJ was fantastic.A few suggestions to grow your sales: label the mimosas in the mimosa carafe and add pictures to the menu - specifically of the french toast casserole which sounds delicious. We probably would have tried it if we found have gotten a better description of what it was.
Feels like the hotspot of the century. Great events with great food. Being from Florida the diversity cant be matched. Enjoyed myself so much I got a job and haven't looked back since. The grooves family welcomes all and makes it feel like home every week.
I’ve been working at grooves for a few years. My time here has been extremely magical. The Grooves management team continues to inspire on several levels. It’s such an amazing honor to be apart of just a creative team. I want to continue to grow and polish myself here at grooves.
The food is amazing. Catfish and grits is what I ordered and they were legit the best grits I’ve had. Also loves the red velvet waffles. Music/DJ was amazingly all early 90s and 2000 with a mix of new
Saturday brunch was a day party! Great food and drinks, good service and the music was ??. Such a vibe! Lateesch made sure our experience was everything. I will definitely return.
Grooves is definitely a vibe! I traveled with a group of 13 people, they had a time trying to find a section that accommodated us (with reservations) upon arrival but eventually worked it out. Music and food was on point! Our server didn't really have the best attitude but that's on her! We turnt up for my sisters bachelorette party and recommend this eatery for brunch if you're visiting!
Grooves is the best place in Houston if you looking for a brunch vibe and great music and the customer service is unmatched! Clay and Ken both showed all of us love! Can’t wait to come back to Tx and visit!!
Despite having to move a couple times to accommodate a large group we had a great time. The food was amazing. Clay and Ken made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. I will be back next time I’m in Houston
