I had to check several times to make sure I was at the right place because all the five star reviews had me confused. I thought I was being punked for a second. I don’t like to make poor remarks but this was the kind of place you ride your bike to for a quick stop to eat. Nothing fancy. Very limited seating. I wasn’t impressed with the food, the burger I tried was extremely dry. It was an OK experience. Great customer service and you can call to place an order. I’ll probably be back for a smoothie cause they looked so good, but for sure wasn’t a five star place.
Amazingly fresh food, wonderful vegan and raw options. Great juices and a hibiscus tea that is so refreshing. Very small dining area but seats also available outside.
I knew health is wealth thus I decided to give it a try, thank God I did. I got the Lungs disease medicine four working days after placing an order. OMG I started noticing change in my breath after one month of taking the herbs medicine, My IPF was completely reversed after two months of usage. Now i'm happy and free from this deadly disease. Had the jackfruit bbq burger and it was so incredibly flavourful and moist! Parking was super easy right outside. Am not used to tinted windows so wasn’t sure if it was open but it was and so good!
We ordered 2 collard greens wraps and they were great. The staff was very patient and helpful, as this was our first visit. Recommend giving them a try if you want something tasty, healthy, and can be eaten on the go.
Amazing delicious plant based restaurant!! I was in Houston for the weekend and found this gem. Wish they exist in NYC!! They'd be super popular!! There were so many options on the menu and I wish my stomach was bigger to try more things. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the solburger (lovely dressing for the hemp seeds based patty!), Nori rolls, cauliflower nuggets and their smoothies. Prices are super fair in fact on the low side if one thinks about the high quality ingredients used and inflation these days! The sweet potato fries were good too not too greasy. Service was very fast and friendly. They had strawberry raw cheesecake sweetened with coconut nectar! I'd come back to Houston just for this place.
Just moved to Houston and we’ve visited a few spots so far this being one of them. For starters when you walk in, the kitchen area is blacked out with curtains. That’s a little sketchy coming from a place that should be transparent about what they serve. Menu looks great and food sounds even better so that was a plus. I purchased one sandwich and one cheesesteak with a juice and the total was $29(usual price for full meal). But once the food came it was only the sandwiches which is EXTREMELY high for two sandwiches with no sides. The taste was pretty bland, there was no distinct flavoring in either sandwiches. Even after reading back over the menu I couldn’t tell what I was eating. It was like a mush lol. But overall NOT BAD, JUST NOT WORTH GOING OUT TO EAT??♂️. You can make something decent at the crib and call it a day or go somewhere where the food is actually worth the pay. JUICE WAS AMAZING but it was simply fresh blended fruit. Not bad, NOT GOOD, just some food
First Vegan place I had ever eaten at and it was super. The drinks are amazing, totally got me hooked on their spirinella mint cold pressed raw juice. So happy I stopped by while checking out the area!
Took a vegan colleague from out of town here for lunch. It was a bit confusing for them because English is not their first language and the menu uses terms like “chickun” to indicate plant-based meat substitutes. It’s also a bit tough to read the font of the menu above the casier and that made it harder for my colleague to understand what it said. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our meals. It’s a bit pricey for the portion sizes, but I wasn’t hungry when I left and I recognize that (unfortunately) it is more expensive to source non-soy vegan ingredients. Parking could be a challenge during busy times and the spaces are not the easiest to navigate. Overall, it’s a great place to take someone with very restrictive dietary needs because they can accommodate pretty much anything (gluten-free, vegan, no soy, etc.).
Green Seed Vegan was in a nice location and has a unique selection of tasty food. The parking was quite difficult, and the food was a little too expensive for what it was, and this includes the juices that one might order there. Obviously, it is vegan-friendly, though I could not speak to other dietary requirements. Would be an acceptable place for meat-eating friends to join in a meal.
