I have been a customer there since 2014 and every visit is a pleasant one. My wife is Colombian and I have visited various cities there including 2 1/2 years as a retired citizen of the U.S. I am overwhelmed by the tasty cuisine from this restaurant! I visit many restaurants but Gran Colombia has my affiliation due to the quality of the food, the service they provide and the value of the entries! There are as in many restaurants times where the food is delayed due to the amount of guests waiting for their food! Otherwise my rating would be 5 Stars. I know the owner and many of the staff and they're always pleasant to the Max!
True Columbian food. Authentic. Not TexMex!!! Simple food prepared with care and love. Great staff. Support small business. Stop going to chain food guys with food like this. I got the 3 piece meat small plate and could not finish!
This place is awesome. They are a great place for a simple breakfast that is awesome.I've tried several items on the menu, and they're all wonderful. Thus morning I tried their Sasayuno el Picado, which is their shredded beef mixed with egg, potatoes, and sweet plantain. The combination of it all, in one bite, goes together really well. The rice on the side is well salted and buttery delicious. My wife ordered their Desayuno el Cucho, which is their Beef liver with onions and pepper, with a side of rice. The liver is a rather thick cut that's served smothered in its juices, onions, and peppers that go really well in a full bite with the saltiness of the rice.Their coffee is well made and flavorful, too. They have other things like pastries that are made fresh, daily, and absolutely delicious! One of them is a pastry shaped like a Chicharón and filled with this delicious Guava filling that just rocks! For a great sit down restaurant that has good coffee and simple breakfast dishes that are hearty and filling, I highly recommend this place!
I went to the restaurant last december, I ate the ¡bandeja paisa¡ uffffffffffff it's extremely delicious, and a guanabana drink, I'm still thinking on that food!!!
This place took me back to Bogota. The food, the people and the atmosphere was A++++++. The best part was the pandebonos. We had like a dozen to go because they were delicious. My mom and I had the bandeja paisa and my brother had the traditional breakfast and we all raved about how great it was and we planned to come back.
We went on Sunday and the owner was so friendly. She cared about us we loved it ,the food was amazing. We can’t wait to go again thank you so much
Missing BBQ meat. They had the nerve to pack BBQ sauce without the BBQ meat. They charged me extra and my order is not there. Items missing.De lo peor! No like!
This was the BEST food I’ve ever had since I moved to the U.S. Everything was well seasoned and I can tell it marinated before the night before cooking. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this restaurant, I don’t thing any other restaurant can compare. Also the service was excellent! I was greeted by one of the friendly waiters. The menus have English subtitles so that you can place your order.
The food was good but not the best I've had. The aroz con pollo could have use more flavor.
The food is pretty good and the place looks good and clean. However they’re not welcoming. We wanted to try this place because the food looked good but was very disappointing because the service was bad. Guy was not nice at all. Barely wanted to even talk to us. We asked what was in the empanadas and he looked like he didn’t even want to talk to us but was super nice a friendly with everyone else. I guess as a Mexican who knows nothing about Colombian food was it. I had a lot of questions but because I wanted to try the food but order something that sounded good. He looked offended when my son asked for no beans. Which for Mexico is called frijoles but I guess there is a different name for them cuz he just looked at us with a face of disgust. I was looking forward to finding a nice welcoming spot but this is not it. My search for a good Colombian place continues.
