Neat restaurant and atmosphere Professional waiters handled our large family reunion group so well, food and drink came quickly. Had the recommended pork chop….outstanding, mouth watering. One of the best I’ve ever had.
Very cold place but a nice place with some good music next door?
I should note that I didn’t get any food, and was only here for a concert, so my review reflects only what I thought of this location as a live music venue. And let me say, it was one of the coolest venues I’ve ever been to. I hope to come back soon to see the outdoor stage in action too.
Liked this place a LOT. Not the cheapest, but quality more than made up for it; loved copious outdoor space to sit that's still shaded and with plenty of breeze from the huge ceiling fans. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, food or drink. Lots of parking out back. See you there, y'all!
We ate there on possibly their last Sunday night, according to the host. There were only a few occupied tables. We ordered Campechana (excellent although not as good as sister restaurant Goode Co Seafood), fried okra - excellent. Chicken tenders were pretty good. Fries okay. Creamed elote-styled corn was okay but needed the chili powder and cotija cheese on top. Service was just okay considering the few customers present.
Very enjoyable evening, Pork Chop, Red Fish, Frito Pie and Carne asada were delicious…And we didn’t miss out on the Pecan Pie either……Again Great Experience
Love this place, very energetic and great food! Will go back.
Definitely recommend the biscuits! I saw the chicken strips at another table & wished it was my order - will plan on those for my next visit. The empanadas tasted like a beef & bean burrito, which is good but not an empanada. I ordered the Yard Bird sandwich and I thought it was decent, but my husband thought it tasted like charred lighter fluid. Will come back for a decent band - really enjoyed the staff and ambiance!
Five foodies walked into a bar/restaurant.....and enjoyed some amazing grub and service by Ray. We like to try each others stuff and all of it rated 5 stars. The grand old fashion chicken tenders were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The taquitos dorados were very tasty. The bacon cheddar grits were delectable. A glass of sauvignon wine was enjoyed, a frozen margarita was consumed with gusto by me and my wife, our son enjoyed an old fashioned, one lemonade was sipped. The yardbird was a hit. Fried okra was everybody's fave. Grilled chicken skewers were very good. A couple orders of fried pork skins and cantina queso were annihilated. Four butter biscuits were fought over. One to go piece of peach cobbler was hauled away, along with a few leftovers....and I do mean a few.......
It was awesome, my son and I with two friends had lunch there, the atmosphere was perfect, the host, Geanue, was new but all her suggestions were taken by us and they were spot on, she made our visit so much better. The food was great.
