Nice establishment with inside and outside seating. Not too big on hot dogs for dinner but I might be a fan of Gourmet hot dogs. First meal all day so I had to go all out. Ordered the Ol' Zapata, quite scrumptious especially the bread, it had a sweet taste that complimented it well. Also the aioli dip with the fries... something crucial, I'm telling you. The Fizzy Mint Lemonade, was decent if you not a fan of lime I wouldn't go for it. All in all it was pretty good.
The absolute best dogs. From basic to special gourmet types. You love hot dogs you’ll love this place!
First time trying this place and it turned awesome! They received my dog with a cup of water and ice. They were very nice and welcoming and their food tastes amazing! We had their beer cheese soup, Ol’zapata dog, and lavender lemonade. Everything was really good, plus they are pet friendly and that means a lot to me. Planning to come back!
We wanted to try something new like always and we found this nice little place called Good Dog Houston and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food... Stop by and check it out... Well until next time signing off Two Peas
Great experience, loved the flavor, their chips, drinks, the variety on their menu & their cleanliness! I highly recommend this place. Not to mention they have great customer service ? I will definitely come back!
I ordered the New Yorker and the Curryous Frank with a side of mac and cheese. The New Yorker was amazing, but the Curryous Frank was not my cup of tea. However, that's my fault - I should've paid closer attention to the toppings before ordering. The mac and cheese was the bomb.com. I scarfed it down in the car, so it didn't make it home for the photo op. ??♀️The hot dogs are decently sized and the flavors are unique and creative. I look forward to trying more of their hotdogs - Highly recommended.
We were visiting from Georgia and a friend brought us here. This is one of her favorites and is now one of ours. We tried several different dogs and were very impressed. For a fantastic dog give this place a try. 2 thumbs way up.
My family and I ate here due to the original restaurant that we wanted to go to being full. Honestly, I’m glad we decided to cancel the plans from the other restaurant and eat here. I had the “Guac-A-Dog” and the “Curryous Frank” with a a glass of “Reggiano Lambrusco” wine. I definitely wanted to get something that wouldn’t resemble a regular hot dog. The Curryous Frank definitely was made well. It had a distinct taste and what it was made with really flowed well together especially since it had Curry on the hotdog. The Guac-A-Dog was also well put together. You can never go wrong putting onions, diced tomatoes, cilantro and guacamole on a hotdog to give it that Hispanic taste. It makes me wonder if salsa or green salsa would’ve been good as well as an alternative just for curiosity. My family had similar hotdogs with one person having the “Benedict Frank.” Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to have that one but from my brother told me, he thought it was really tasty. The fries and onion rings were freshly made and were pretty good with them not being very greasy and the service was absolutely amazing. The bus boy went out of his way to make sure that everything we had tasted good and that any plates that were done were taken. The place was very clean including the bathrooms and the service was quick. If I am ever down in Houston again and this time with my fiancé, this may be one of the first places I take her to eat if we are wanting to try something much different than a usual burger or steak.
This place has amazing food. Like, the food quality is just awesome. I have never thought of hotdogs as being gourmet before, but this place has turned my opinion around. But they also have other food there that’s JUST as amazing. Tonight I had their creamy hatch chili soup and I fell in love with it. If you want a REALLY good place to eat and have a beer that won’t break the bank, this IS the place. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Awesome friendly place to eat a gourmet dog! The owners are the best!
