My father and I visit this location often, and we have always had mediocre service. On my most recent visit I purchased an adult dinner buffet with a drink, $19.36. I prepared and ate a salad, and sat for 20 minutes while waiting for a server to greet me and bring me a drink. Many servers walked past me and never asked me if I needed anything, so I flagged one down and asked if they knew who my server is. No one knew, so I approached the manager on duty, Owen. She identified my server, and excused his negligence due to him being new and not knowing I was in his section. After this experience I no longer wanted to dine here, so I requested a refund and Owen refused. She sited the fact that I ate a salad. I asked her who her boss is, she gave me the name Sal Ahmle. I haven’t been able to reach him. I left the restaurant disgusted, having only eaten a salad for $19.36
Leticia was an incredible server! I will request her the next time we go.The food was really good. Golden Corral has come a long way. There are many GOOD options. I added hot sauce and peppers and enjoyed every bit of my food. The roasted chicken, spinach, yeast roll, fried fish and shrimp, tender pot roast, and jamaica to drink. I did not eat my cauliflower, but that didn't take away from the experience. ?
No service = no tip. Jeremy is our waiter. Our party is large - spanning 4 tables. He never offered my kids and I a refill on our drinks or picked up the empty plates cluttering our table, despite our table being connected to another table that he actually offered drinks and trash service too. It was very strange, but the strangest part is that Jeremy appears to be Hispanic, and our entire party is Hispanic except me and my kids. I guess Jeremy is showing his racial bias. There’s too much of that in the world already. Next time, let’s make our visit about the family atmosphere and food.
Food was good. I had a awesome salad. Freshly fried chicken and rolls. The waitress is attentive to her section with drinks and clearing plates.
The food was gross. It cost us $66 for 3 adults & a child. My kid hardly ate cause it wasn’t any good. Hardly any dessert & no ice cream. & the bathroom was disgusting. You could smell urine before you got to the bathroom door. We used to travel from Baytown to come to this one but not anymore.
Staff was very polite and helpful. My server was great. Some of the buffet items were out (no surprise with the current shortages), but there still was a very good selection, and it was all good. The location was very clean, and the staff were keeping it clean.I had not been to a GC since before Covid, but I was a little shocked with the price increase for the buffet, but I understand. The only demerit goes to the dessert bar. Not a very good selection, and most of the shelves were empty. The soft ice cream machine was not working with parts on the counter, and there was no hand dipped ice cream. The cookies were small, and did not seem like fresh baked like I remember.
The cashier is in constant contact w customers and has her mask down. The piece to protect is small and doesn't work because she leans to speak. I had to take my baby from my husband because of this reason. Most workers had their mask on except the cashier and our waitress. The two people whoShould have it on because of the close contact. The waitress would take a long time to come. We waited forever for refills and spoon and knife (only a fork is provided). The food is decent .
This place was the biggest one we've been to and very clean. The manager was real nice and respectful. Our server Letty was really cool and fast on getting us a refill on our drinks and getting the plates. I know that we'll be coming back next Wednesday for sure.
If I could give it zero stars I definitely would. Staff was arguing all the time, the waitress snatched the money out of my hand and she was very rude to me, rolled her eyes and was aggressively giving me my glove and receipt. And overall the food was not good.
todo muy limpio y ordenado además de gran variedad
