Let me tell you about the hidden gem of H-Town: Gold Diggers Cabaret!**Do not be intimidated by the trap house vibes** It's a hole in a wall spot and not as ritzy as some of the other joints but what it lacks in decor, it makes up in authenticity.First of all, make sure to go on the weekend because it's extra popping. If you go during the week, just go later like 11pm and on.Secondly, THIS IS A BYOB CLUB!!! You can bring anything you want, as long as it's not in the original glass container. I suggest a large water bottle of your finest mix or they sell Coke/Sprite you can just bring the strong stuff in a thermos.Lastly, this is a smoking friendly establishment. Be sure to bring your own smoke, or some cash to cop some. I love to come here with girls,because the strippers will get them extra hot and ready. It's a win win situation for all.

Disclaimer upfront: I'm white. I have only been a couple of times, and don't review much especially strip clubs, but I felt the need to tell y'all about this place. Both times I left, I had the same strong feeling: this place is perfect, for what it is. Please don't change a thing.The place itself is what I would kindly describe as "no frills" lol. The music is loud, like real loud. While everything seems clean (nowhere I'd think twice about sitting, unlike plenty of places I could mention), it's definitely got a "lived in" feel to it. No "Gentlemens Club" fake ambiance or pretense. Just a few stages, chairs, and padded benches/sofas laid out so that there's not a bad view in the place. It's set up extremely well; I've designed and opened a handful of bars, and I can't think of anything I'd have done different.The women here are incredible. Ok, so it's a Black club, but there is EVERY type here: tall, short, thiccccccc, petite, DDDs down to small chested, pretty much every skin tone darker than my own. Every one is gorgeous in her own way, and I mean that objectively and not in a "everybody's special" way. In my (admittedly only 2) trips there, I encountered no attitudes or feeling like I got ripped off. The dancers at least seem to get along, and I detected no drama. Oh, and there are roughly a thousand of them working every night apparently. They're all fun, a bit wild, but professional.Everybody including staff friendly as hell, having a good time. It's like a party in someone's huge basement that you got let into. I get minimal odd looks for being there from other patrons; I expected at first to be uncomfortable, but that was absolutely not the case.The first time I was there was probably the best time I've ever had in a strip club; I could write a book about that night, it was magic. Since this review is turning into a book itself, I'll leave you with this: Come give these folks some of your money! They definitely deserve it, and you'll be glad you did.
