Best American style pizza in town! The place is classic and located in the middle of downtown, just a block away from Main St and the Houston wall mural, make it a must go.Tomatoes sauce tastes great and the dough is always well made. Prices are affordable. You can get the whole pizza or by slices.
I am frequently in town for business and had a craving for pizza so I googled "pizza near me" Frank's was an option within walking distance and had great reviews. I walked 5 blocks thru the dirty city and multiple vagrants and arrived at Franks. This is a small restaurant with limited seating but the service was great as was the pizza. Pizza by the slice or a whole pie. I will definitely return!
One star of for them losing our order. I called ahead and placed an order. They said about 25-30 minutes and we gave them our phone number. We got turned around and arrived 45 minutes after we called. It was weird because we never got a phone call about it being ready. The place was extremely crowded and very dirty. There is crumbs and trash on the tables which made me happy that we took ours to go. They have cheap pizza that isn’t half bad but there needs to be some sort of organization in there. Maybe some Lysol and a rag as well.
This place without a doubt has amazing pizza. It has this New York Style but of course it's Houston Style. Buy a slice or a whole pie its up to you and their prices are very good. The pizza is freshly made and has excellent texture and as a wing lover I got to say they do a very good job with the spice and crispiness of the wing. If your out downtown I highly recommend stopping by as they stay open pretty late and the perfect way to get rid of those munchies.
Where do I start… just received my delivery.. very fast, which was the only good part about this experience. First, I open the grilled cheese to find 2 slices of bread, MAYO, LETTUCE and an un-grilled piece of cold cheese… astounding. Second, we open up the burger… please just don’t get the burger…We move on to the salad.. great salad.. hard to mess that up. Then we moved on to the pepperoni rolls.. which aren’t that bad once you get through the leather-esk bread.Lastly we moved to the cheesecake.. the solid frozen cheesecake. Wow what a roller coaster of emotions. We didn’t bother opening up the pizza box at this point.Just order domino’s.
Went for lunch. Ordered the supreme 12" pizza. Great pizza taste and crust. Plenty of ingredients. Have small amount of siting on bottom floor, but have more sitting upstairs. Non fancy but the pizza is good. There are other items on the menu, but pizza is what I saw people getting. It is also sold by the slice.
This is hands down the best pizza that I’ve found in Houston! I work downtown so I visit this establishment frequently and it never disappoints. The only bad experience I’ve had related to franks is rude delivery drivers or cyclists. Whatever. Other then that this place is PERFECT!
Stopped by here by incident a week or so ago. The pizza was incredible - and that’s coming from someone who has had plenty of NY & Chicago pizza. The crust and pizza slice is the perfect amount of thin and thick. Toppings are heavy but not enough to fall off, and the pizza is delicious. Would 100000% recommend!
Houston classic. If you want the best NY style slices in Houston this is the place. Ask when the new pizzas come out if they're not already flying and get a supreme slice. Eating there to enjoy the Movie posters of movies filmed in Houston. Nice touch. ✌️?
Neighborhood style pizzeria. You can buy the pizza by the slice.or the whole pie. Very umpretansious. Yo tengo and enjoy a slice made.to your taste and a beer. I liked it
