Me and my guest sat and waiting to be served for some time. Finally got our order taken, only to not get everything we ordered. My guest order 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and grits. She got what looked like 1 egg and some bacon. We were told the grits would be to us shortly. But never came. The toast, well it wasn't even mentioned to be coming and never did either. I got chicken and waffles with 2 eggs. The chicken was over cooked and dark, like it was cooked in old grease. The waffle was ok. My 2 eggs looked like 1 egg. The waitress never came back to our table. So I flagged the lady at the register to tell her of the missing items. She looks at our plates and sees how they looked, and just offered a discount. Oh, did I mention the food had no taste.I can't recommend a place I would never visit again. So. There it is.. 1 Star.?
Usually when me and my family come here, we have a pretty good experience. Today wasn't one of those days. If I could give our experience today, ZERO stars I would. To start off, we weren't greeted upon entering the restaurant. The place was not busy, so we weren't sure why the vibe was so bland, but ok. Next, after we seated ourselves, it eventually took another 5-10 minutes for anyone to come to the table to take our order. Following that, upon taking our drink order, we waited 10-15 minutes to receive them. To us, the only employees actually engaged inwork, were the cooks. Apparently Frank's Grill wasn't in the mood to make money, or my money wasn't good enough to spend here. We won't patronize again. Worst experience we have ever had. Waste of time going here today. Will definitely take my money and business elsewhere.
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Most people loved their food except for regular fries. Tasted straight outta the freezer section. Cajun fries were good though. Country fried steak, burgers, and shrimp and grits were enjoyed.Prices were reasonable especially for the size plate of food.I really wish they would have told me though how big beef patties were on patty melt. I asked for an extra patty and they charged me $6 for the party. Wasn't even needed as you can tell from the picture lol.
I loved coming here because the staff is great but the waiting time is ridiculous. I will come back again but won’t return any time soon.

I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was AMAZING! I wished I was able to eat more. The chicken wings were underwhelming. Not nearly enough seasoning. The restaurant itself was VERY clean. We were there around 10am, if that makes a difference. I would definitely go back. I just won't order the chicken wings again.
The food was absolutely delicious and my server was awesome! I wanted to try some local places during my visit to Houston and this place looked pretty decent. I had the chicken fried chicken and waffle. The chicken was so juicy and well-seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Next time I visit Houston, stopping at Frank's is a must!

I ordered a western omelet through Uber eats with bacon I req cheddar or pepperjack cheese & received American I also asked for my eggs to be scrambled hard for my omelet & they are nearly raw on the inside. I truly feel that if I was dining in your establishment instead of ordering delivery I would’ve received better quality food. I’m not even going to finish it because I don’t like American cheese & I cannot stomach the nearly raw eggs.
Great service. Great food. Attentive staff. Their breakfast is to die for! You can eat for two under 30 dollars. The breakfast portions are huge! Laidback atmosphere. Denny’s who?!!
