Great place. I would go again. A huge burger and lots of fries. The burger was cooked great, and the mushroom was big, I expected it to be small and barely noticable.
This place used to be amazing, but their standards have lowered quite a bit. They recently put pork in my order of mayo fries. When I took it back to them, they acted like it wasn't a big deal. I explained to them how I was a practicing Muslim and have vegetarian colleagues and friends who come here as well. They gave me a refund, but no apologies or remorse. Customer service and standard needs to improve drastically.
Fantastic restaurant! My friends and I tried to find the restaurant the first day we were in Houston for a conference, only we found it a challenge to discover because it is actually in the tunnel system below downtown! You can't really use GPS directions when you have to navigate the tunnels!That being said, 2 days later we made a more expertly planned attempt to find the restaurant, and it was everything we had hoped for! The restaurant is Filipino inspired foods, with a lot of American flavors melded with the Asian traditional inspirations! The burgers were juicy with buns that were crisp and even had mustard placed on them in the shape of the word love and a heart! My own meal was a more traditional Filipino dinner, called lechon kawali, which is a fried pork belly meal with garlic seasoned rice, lettuce, and chives!To top it off, two of us ordered something called a Halo Halo, which is an ice cream and fresh fruit combination, along with coconut shavings and crushed ice! The flavors were exquisite and unique in a way that can't be compared to a chain ice cream store!The chef and waitstaff were happy to oblige our touristy goofiness, and even got in on the fun of pictures that we took while we were there!If you're able to find it, go to Flip N Patties! You're not gonna be let down!
Awesome location, super friendly service, crazy fast too! They got all 18 of us our food in 20 minutes and everyone enjoyed what they tried. The two guys working were super friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions and explain the menu. Would definitely recommend! (Also the fries are huge!)
The fries! Happened upon this place by chance and I was wowed by their loaded fries. Brought a co worker a week later and he loved the burger. Service is quick and seating has never been an issue.
Tried out for the first time today and it was delicious! Tasty fusion of flavors. Especially loved the Chicken Pupu Garlic Rice Plato! The plates come with 2 egg rolls (flip rolls) with an equally good sweet chili sauce. Longsilog patty Plato was also good with flavors I've never tasted before!Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you're going to the Houston Symphony! Super easy walking distance!
Stopped here on a weekend trip to Houston! Can’t say enough great things about it! From the customer service to the fries, chicken and beef Pattie’s, you can’t go wrong with any selection! Delicious…every single bite!
So sorry was not able to take pictures of our food.. first time here in houston texas. After a delayed flight from florida with my 2 kiddos, with no breakfast and lunch, we were able to locate this restokiosk under the bank of america. My kids are picky eaters but, oh my! You perfected our filipino taste! They love your food, the chicken with fried rice and the crunchy fries... we so love it!
Had the lechon kawali plate. Huge serving! Great value for the money. The place to go if you're hungry in Downtown Houston.
Puet burger is the best burger I've personally ever had, the fries are amazing. Had the lechon appetizer , the egg rolls and the chicken bites where all amazing. Plus the 3 guys working there where all really cool dudes, the cashier was patient super helpful got the order 100% correct. I left them a $4 tip on the card, but after eating all the amazing food they made for my wife and I , gave them an extra $20. I will go back next weekend 4 sure.
