Fast, friendly service. Food and drink were very good. I highly recommend the green chip dip (you need to request it), chicken tortilla soup, and mango margarita.

Always one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! The food/service is great, and you can walk to local shopping afterwards!

My first and last time ever coming to this establishment. I don’t know if our waitress was under trained, new, tired or just didn’t want to be there. Food was horrible. Hands down the worst Tex mex in Houston. “Street tacos” were extremely DRY and over cooked. Empanadas were disgusting and just by the taste AND color of my food I can tell they hardly change their frying oil!!! Drinks were watered down. Lemonade was good. Bottled coke was good.

Fair prices. Good service. Clean location. I would describe this as Mexican food from states that don't eat Mexican food. It's all very bland. Couldn't taste cummin in the quac. The rice was parboiled and not fluffy and had watered down flavor. I'm sure it would be well liked by pallets that don't like spice or Mexican flavors but feels very out of place in Texas.

Good Mexican meal, we enjoyed it. My early birthday ? dinner ? from my daughter

Great place to eat and Lucy our server was AMAZING.... They have Military discounts and I will be coming back for sure. The food was amazing but the service was better.

We gave Escalante's a try. What held us back was their pricing. We shared the lunch special fajita combo, $19.00, for another 2 dollars you can get some good guacamole, the fajitas were on the small side and lacked flavor, a nice touch was the melted butter. We shared a side ground beef enchilada, we've never paid 7 dollars for one before and an average one at that.

Great staff and quick serve time.MeekandZekeOn Twitter: @MeekandZOn Instagram: MeekandZekeOn TickTok: meekzekeOn YouTube: MeekandZekeOn Stationhead (download the app and follow) : MeekandZeke

Pricey for Tex Mex. But good.

I went here twice since I’ve been in Houston. The drinks are great the food was very good. I really liked the guacamole. The chips and salsa were both fresh and filling. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a little on the pricier side, but we’ll worth it in my opinion. I had the street tacos and added some salsa it was delicious.
