My shrimp and avocado salad was fine, but the service unfortunately was not. When I didn't receive a receipt for my meal, they researched it for 15 minutes and then resorted to writing down my personal email address to send it to me. I still have not received my receipt 2 weeks later. Business travelers beware.
I was not very impressed with the menu items. They seemed ok. Service was slow or non-existent. Asked for an iced water and it took a while to get it, even though they were empty.Prices are way way way high. Certainly taking advantage of being in an airport. Shame.
Very, very overpriced and the portions are ridiculously small, both doors and wine, even for an airport. I guess it’s by purpose the prices are removed on the posters. And the waiters was arrogant…
Obviously everyone has low expectations for airport food, but if you eat here lower them even more. I would prefer to eat food offered on the plane. This is without a doubt one of the worst meals I have ever had. Also be ready to have a large gratuity added to your check even though there is zero human contact other than setting your plate in front of you.Absolutely terrible.
This place is hot garbage. $90 for a beer, a drink, a sandwich, app and a salad. Wrong sandwich was brought. Not changed out. Beer was warm, food was cold. Broccoli tempura was raw batter. Avoid this garbage fire.
Omg! Even for airport food this place is terrible! Worst excuse for a chicken sandwich that I’ve ever had. Cost me 42 dollars for a beer, forced gratuity and about 2 ounces of over breaded deep fried chicken on buns that could be floatation devices. The waitress was a lovely person. That’s the positive portion of this!!
We had the lovely experience of meeting and having our meals a drinks served at Ember, by a beautiful staff member named Sharonda Hall today. The food and service was excellent made all the more enjoyable by this sweet lady. She's a keeper!Airports are a busy and stressful place at the best of times.Thank for making our stop in Houston memorable Sharonda!Sincerely Douglas Kerr and Denise Farris
We ordered drinks, after 15 minutes, they hadn’t arrived. We asked a waiter to cancel the order, he offered to go cups, we said no, the airline won’t let you bring alcohol on the plane. He told us not to worry, he would cancel the order, he didn’t, so I’m out $25.00.Won’t be going there again.
I came here during a layover and while airport food and drinks are not the best this place dis not even try. They clearly know they have captive patrons in the airport with limited options and they've totally taken advantage of this and skipped on quality. I ordered a fruit salad that came out with about 10 pieces of fruit on a large plate. I am pretty sure they counted each piece out. I also ordered a Mimosa and the glass was about 1/4 full but the price was equal to the cost of a bottle of orange juice and decent champagne without the good orange juice or decent champagne. While it might present itself as a quick and easy place to stop I'd recommend checking out some of the other places.
Server was excellent, burger was great... The electronic pad stuck in the middle of the table is a pain, blocks the person sat opposite and prevents sharing food. The whole impersonal order online and pay immediately BS takes the shine this otherwise good, and not cheap, dining experience.
