1st time here, the ambience is clean and inviting, food quality was very nice, wine list extensive and reasonable
Appetizer was small and key lime was not on Houston restaurant week menu and not appetizing main course was delicious but was first given incorrect order
All very good and enjoyable. Service was excellent. As was the food.
Enjoyed the meal overall. Great apps with the blacked peppers and crabcake. Good veggies and sides. Salmon a bit overdone and ribeye not the best cut. Also waitress disappeared at the end of the meal and took forever to bring dessert then check.

ordered the shrimp and grits and while the shrimp had a good flavor the grits were clumpy and lumped together - not creamy. and the okra in the dish was hard and chewey. coffe served without creamer not was i asked what my preference was. i wasnt a fan. othersin my party ordered the stack dish and they loved it.

We got together for my cousins birthday. Service started off great and food was delicious! But once a big party got seated in our servers area, service declined. It took a while four server to stop by and a few things were forgotten
My experience was great as usual. The only thing that was a little different today was the steel oatmeal and coffee tasted different. The oatmeal was a little mushy and the coffee flavor was not as robust. The service was fantastic, as always. The ambience is always great because the noise level allows me the space to think and do work or to enjoy a little soft music. Overall Eloise Nichols is a great place to dine. I will be returning.
