Horrible, horrible, I just order this place via Favor and tell me why I received chicken broth instead of a chicken soup. Such a disappointment after hearing all this good thing about El Rey, they obviously could careless about their service and food, they pretty much sold me what looks like dirty water ??, there's more cheese in the bottom of the container than anything flooding in it...
I come to this location often, about three times a month. The staff is not rude but they are not friendly either. The menu is very diverse, but only a few items are delicious. The fajita torta and the tortilla soup are good. Everything else in the menu is very dry and flavorless. Unfortunately the Aguas are not natural, Horchata, limon, and melon. It's a place to stop by if everything else is too far or too crowded.
Simply put, you cannot go wrong with any of the tacos. Some of the best espresso in the city, and this mulata drink (horchata and espresso) was fantastic.
One of the few places where the pics of the food on the signs and menu come out and look just as good when served. Try the Kale or Grilled chicken salads, they are amazing!
This place has a world famous worthy chicken tortilla soup recipe. Usually I give it 5/5 but lately the portions of chicken were getting progressively smaller with each order over a relatively short span of a month or two (we eat here like once a week)It got worse and worse to the point there was practically 30-40% of the normal amount of chicken in the large order of soup (mostly broth)And at this point I felt compelled to write this review after the third or fourth instance of feeling like there was not enough chicken in the soup.Please correct this very minor but irksome problem as we love ordering from here and really hope our next experience later this week will be like normal.
Used to love this place. The service took a nose dive. Sadly we won't be going back again. We waited 30 min for our food and it never came. Walk up and the manager could care less so after being in the building for 40 minutes and the attitude we cancelled. The food used to be amazing (probably is still but how would we know?)
Love this place! I come here a few times a month and always get great service and wonderful food. My favorite is the Havana plate! Delicious slow cooked pork with peppers, onion and rice and beans. Yummm! I also get the chicken fajitas plate which is good as well.

Cheap, fast and great food at this fast food place! Staff was friendly, lots of options, and it was filling!
Their rotisserie chicken is always amazing and so juicy. But their tortilla soup is my favorite I have had anywhere. A lot of avocado and big pieces of chicken. So filling and full of flavor. I have dabbled with other items on the menu which have been good but the soup always calls my name everytime I go so I usually end up ordering that.
