Loved the delicious food my daughter and i ordered from El Rey. I ordered 2 different plates and when I got home we couldn't decide who would get what! They were both soooo delicious! There was no bad choice. Thanks for the great service and delicious food!
Tres amigos taco plate is a great deal. We love the Ropa Viega tacos and the Rotisserie Chicken Taco along with an order of chips and salsa. By ordering three tacos, you get the tres amigos plate with beans and rice which is a true treat. Great food, great service, clean facility. We love this place and include it in our frequent visits to Houston.
This Tortilla Soup is the best I have had in Houston. Tender chicken in a light chicken broth, not too salty, with avocado ? and cilantro floating on top, and the tortilla strips are in a separate container so they don't get soggy. Well wrapped for take out so it won't spill in your car. Reusable plastic container is a bonus which I try to put to good use.
A friend suggested this Mexican-Cuban taqueria and I couldn't have been more pleased with it! The food was amazing - I got the taco Tuesday special, which was a modest $8.50 for three good size tacos. I went with one typical pastor, which was definitely a good quality, and then two of the Cuban tacos which were simply delicious with the beef, beans, and a nice twist of sweet plantains on top! I also tried the melon juice and could tell it was very fresh and didn't have too much added sugar. I will definitely be coming back here!
Taco Tuesday! Special $8.50. Yum! Got the chicken, carnitas, and fajita taco. Service was fast. Restaurant was very clean and nicer than it looks from the outside. Bathroom smelled great and very clean. They have made me a new customer!
Meh. The food is fresh, but not flavorful.Not really sure what I ate. The food seemingly used fresh ingredients, but everything just tasted so bland. Even the sauce was bland.I wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s your only choice.
Normally their stuff is awesome! I always get the quesadilla and horchata to go and I love it!However the last 3 times I got it, the quesadilla was not as good and the horchata tasted watered down.
Tacos cost a little more here, but the quality and flavor are excellent. Prepared fresh as you order, they have dine- in and drive thru.
Professional, and friendly staff. They are clean and handle your food with care by taking extra measures to wrap and seal it properly. I ordered delivery recently and was more than satisfied. I had all condiments and my precise directions were followed. Thank you for always being on point, delivering great service, and taking safety measures with the handling of the food. Great JOB ?
